It looks like this blog is only being updated when there are photos to be uploaded with rather short stories that has been happening around....

It feels like 2008 just started and its already FEBRUARY ...How time flies so fast...*grins*

After 3 years i walked again for Thaipusam this year with Bavani and Siva...We actually reached Batu Caves in 4 hours!!!According to them this is their fastest walk ever!!! To tell the truth, the we were not walking but i practically felt we were running!!! As usual, as we reached Batu Caves straight we went up and than went home. Thaipusam day went back to Batu Caves 2 times. Morning once and in the night once. Mind you i went up the stairs both the times!!!

And not tiring at all!!!

Its been a good start so far and infact Cuti-cuti Malaysia has started for as early as January for this 2008!!! *yeah i know its too fast*

With no other choice i accepted the offer to Melacca for a weekend's break last week!!! In the name of sending Shall back to MMU we reached Melacca. Well the 1st batcj left on Saturday morning with 5 people in the car. The second batch left at about 7.45 and i was in the second batch.

Which means we reached there just in time for dinner. *had mcD on the way from KL* Reached Melacca by 9 and went straight to Jonker's Walk.. That place was full of stalls selling all sorts off things including food stuff. We bought some popiah and joined the other group that was there and was already eating.

Being the smart people some of us did not eat coz we had already planned to go to the Portugese Settlement for dinner. And it was all worth the wait coz we had to eat the best crab ever!!!!
Its just so delicious that no words can explain it.Its just like u r floating i n HEAVEN *maybe*

Than as the clock stroke 12 there comes the birthday cake for the b'day girl....Well we bought the cake from KL and after ordering our food to come, the 3 musketeers *prem,shal n me* pretend to go to the car to get something...Than we took the cake to the shop that we ordered our food n told the guy to bring the cake at 12am *by the way the guy that i was speaking was so cute!!!*..ok getting back to the surprise cake...the food we ordered came before the cake reached and by than the 3 sisters hands were already full of crabs!!!

So the sequence of the cake coming is as below :

Finished dinner at almost 1.30 am. Than we headed back to our hotel where the booking of the room was only done for 2 people but 8 people ended up in A room!!! Yes u read it right 8 people in a room which was "suppose" to be for 2....The room ended up being like a place for pendatang asing...but it was though with everyone in a room and all the storying sessions..

The second day was full of jalan-jalan but not much pictures was taken coz all of us were having camera problems!!All we did was eat...eat n eat!!! The best was the Nonya food that we ate!!! It was the pure authentic Nyonya food...N i ate so much of belacan....Though without camera, Shal n I were still forced to camwhore even just with the camera phone!!!

Yup...we also went to temple and this picture looks creepy...

Other than Melacca, this week also has been a really good week *minus all the assignments*...Many good things happen.

With taking the risk and trying out my luck by just sending an forwarded SMS....i ACTUALLY got a reply back from that person!!! OMG!!!

Thats among the best thing that has happened to me after a very LONG time!!! With that reply i continued the SMS and we actually exchanged a few SMS-es which is a very good sign to me!!!

Lets hope the GOOD TIME is to be CONTINUED!!!

Rupster says " About improving 2008"

The 2nd week of 2008 is almost done and is going towards the 3rd week of the year. Classes has also resumed as usual. As the New Year passes by, i was thinking of doing something that is more worth -while for this year.

In other words i want to bring difference for this year. Hence, i got to repair what ever that has gone wrong all this while. Let the past be the past. Starting of a new chapter is better rather than dragging on the old chapter.

So from this day, the NEW CHAPTER begins!!!

A BIG WELCOME to 2008!!!

Yeap its a brand NEW year again...as usual i ushered the New Year with the geng like for all the past years...This time the only difference is that we has dinner at a shop and the countdown at home.... and we finally reached home at almost 2 a.m.

As the clock strike 12 we wished each other and all i got was "Happy New Year and make sure the 21st Birthday bash has been plan!!!

Wonder if all the turning 21 year olds get the same question???

Q: Wonder what was i thinking????

A: Omg....every1 is asking for a 21st birthday bash
from me!!!

So basically that all we did for New Years other than watching the fireworks display that was magnificent!!!

This entry end with me hoping this year will be a much better year and less shitty like last year was!!!!

HAPPY 2008

Rupster says " Farewell 2007!!!"

With a split second today is the 31st December and there goes the year 2007...

2007 has been a very stressful year to me. Frankly i was actually waiting for 2007 to move even more faster than the speed that it was going in.

Well the year started off well but as months went by it become from BAD to WORST!!!

Only God knows on how the hell i manged to face all those shit...

BUT.....

Looking at the brighter side there was also a few HAPPY occasion that took place in the year 2007...Had 2 really fun holidays with my friends. Though there were so much planning but at least the PD and Pangkor trip was a blast of time!! Than the short holiday i had with dad's geng which we never had a outing for a long year.

Than there was all the mamak-ing sessions with friends, 1 dim-sum session,1 session of something that i always wanted to do but never got the chance :)

There was also a few family gatherings on dad and mom's side as well. I think the HIGHLIGHT for this year was the "Surprise English Ceylon Tea Party"(refer to the pictures below) that Prem did for my uncle and aunty's 25th Wedding Anniversary..Being part of the planning was so much fun too!!!


As a conclusion i really hope what ever had happened in 2007 will be left behind rather than brought forward to 2008!!!

My CUTI-CUTI Malaysia 2007 journey continued from Pangkor to Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. This has also been a long awaited time by all of us because its been a while since we all went for a holiday together. Well Bukit Tinggi was a interesting place. The weather was cold and i loved the weather so much.They actually have lots of activities but we did not do much due to time constrains. The second day we left early to Genting Highlands. Yeah...yeah......i finally reached Genting's after manyyyyy yearssss... So enjoy the pictures...

Rupster says "about some updates only"

I remember saying in 1 of my last posts that i would be busy for sometime and would not be able to update this blog..Well yeah i was supper-dupper busy...With work and than with classes plus with all the yum-char sessions with the geng, family outings, and some small and big problems as well..So thats enough to explain my supper-dupper busyness :p

So i really dont know what am i suppose to blog today because i don't really remember anything because i have too many thing in my head.I am very sure that everything that happened so far was suppose to be put her but as i sit n type now nothing seems to be flowing out!!

Holidays is just around the corner as in 2 weeks time...The plan for this holidays for now is a trip to Pangkor.Its been a really long and stressful planning this trip. Well, this is what happens when u plan a holiday with almost close to 10 people who are studying n working in different places with different holiday timing. So finally we manage to get everyone to agree with the fixed date. Reservations has been made and we are just counting our days to get there and ENJOY!!!



Taliking bout enjoyment, i just remembered what i wanted to blog about today..Its about Malaysia's very own Angkasawan!! Well i guess its almost everyones dream to go to the space. I know i would love to go there just to see how the world looked like. Though it is said to be round BUT i still want to know how does it look like.
Today Malaysia has proved that the space is our limit by sending our very own Angkasawan there..I was always updating myself on all the things he was doing there n oso never missed all the telephone conferencing they had "live" telecast with him from the space. I found it to be a very interesting mission and not everyone would actually get a chance to get there.
