Rupster says " About the Awsome starting week of 2011"

The first week of the New Year has been a blast. Things never was this good. The was a appropriate amount of fun, laughter, busyness, tiredness and all the emo-ness.

How nice if things were always this good!

Thursday evening, Sharu suddenly appears at the gate and  says "lets go to temple". An immediate answer was YES! So of we went, done with the 1st stop we decided why not go to a second one as well. Without thinking further we headed to Brickfields for the second stop. Once but the temple were done it was dinner time.

And this is the best part. For a reason everyone should know by now. This is because it was catch-up time! Way too many stories we covered! And that led to a discussion of a dinner meet up the next day.

The whole of Friday went on smoothly but the highlight was in the night. After much of a last minute planning, calling here and there finally the 6 of us met up for dinner. Starting of at Station One Cafe at Viva, Jalan Ipoh. It was totally madness. Some never saw each other since the last day of school. For the amount of noise we made, we had many people turning and looking back at us.

So we decided to change the location. Where else would we go if it is not Jalan Ipoh's famous Uma Rani (UR). And that is when it really turned to pure madness! Very very mad! People surrounding would have thought we were drunk or something. But no! We were not drunk or what so ever. It was just the excitement and craziness we had in us! And we were super LOUD!

We had so much fun talking and making noise! To the extend we forgot to snap more pictures!!! Though some of us never met for years, but it seemed like we always met and kept in touch. We've planned for another one, hopefully it does take place!

Rupster says "About 10.10.10"

10/10/10 was a date chosen by us to meet up! We last had the entire group together was way back in school which was about 6 years ago. Not that we totally lost contact. We did meet up in between but it was never complete. Even this is is not complete. 1 more important member could not make it...

 After much of planning and decisions, we finally choose Mid Valley to meet up since it was the central point for all of us to get there. There was a slight delay in the timing, so by the time we reached there was already lunch time. Being it a Sunday and the place being Mid Valley, it would not easy to find a spot to eat.

 Since we decided Pizza Hut, we had to wait for about 10 minutes before we could get our seats! But God knows how fast time moved on as soon as we sat on the seat! So much stories and it was day filled lots and lots of laughter!

 Many of us have changed. But the "kiddos" in us have yet to change! We still bully each other. And the person who always gets bullies is still the very same person since we were in our 1st year if high school!

 We had lots to catch up and lots to patch back among ourselves. Over food, we laughed and talked all the way not realising time has been really passing by fast. We even did not realise that there was someone watching us! Yes! It felt like we were stalked by this one particular waiter there!

 Feeling the discomfort of being watched we decided to walk around the mall, get some more food to munch on. Through that journey, we took tonnes of pictures!

 Only than did we realise, we only had 1 picture of all of us when we were in school..So we took more and more pictures!

We ended the day at almost 7 because everyone had other plans planned for the night. Some of us were trying to meet up for the night to continue the session but it just did not work out. As an all, the day turned out to be a very fun and memorable day for all of us. Going down memory lane, is something very beautiful to look at! Looking forward to more such events!

This is a day to be in mind for a very long time. It was like back to high school. When Rupster first entered high school she was still in a group with her primary school mates. Most of our primary school mates went to the same school. It was only a handful of us opted to change to a school that was much nearer to our homes.

As time went on, we all found our own click of friends. So there we were the 7 of us formed a group. We used to do crazy stuffs together. In the first year and second year, we spent most of our time in school because we were in the afternoon section. We used to go early to school just to meet up and talk stories and do havoc. Fridays were the best! We got to hang out even longer as school started much later!

Once we got to the morning section, after school the first thing we used to do was all the 7 of us meet up at our meeting point which is the canteen. Once everyone was there we would to Mutiara Complex that was located right next to our school. Mutiara after school hours looked like just another school because it would be filled with students from our school as well as other surrounding schools too!

We used to go there just to buy ice cream or at times to have our lunch there. On the way walking to Mutiara, is a Hyundai showroom. Everytime we walk pass the showroom, the door would open and we used to get the air-cond! We purposely used to walk up and down just for the air-cond!

In Mutiara, we used to walk aimlessly and do just nothing at all! All we did was talk and laugh like crazy people. But we were not the only ones! There were so many of our school mates who were doing the same thing as well! We used to walk there just because one person need to buy a pen and the bookshop!

Than after we are done with Mutiara, our session would continue to the bus stop. Most of us went back by bus. So we used to take the same bus as well. The only problem was, other than Rupster, all the rest needed to take a specific numbered bus! So we used to wait and wait for those buses. At times, when the bus comes, we don't even take the bus just because we were having some interesting topic to talk about! So we wait for the next bus!

Those were some of the good times we had together. Once we left school, we all went our own ways but still kept in touch. We met once in a while but just could not seem to get the whole group together at one time.

What happened yesterday was very unplanned. First, only the 2 of us planned to meet. But along the way we had another 2 to join in. The days started at 3 pm and only ended at 11.30 pm! We went to 3 different places! We just had too much to talk about! If it was not because of our late curfew, we would have just continued to even a later time!So we decided to plan a short trip so that everyone could come along and we get to spend more time together. When? We are not sure, but it will definitely happen!

It just felt like it was school times. Just that this time we were not in our uniforms. The laughter, the stories, the each other attacking and all the other things that came along it was still the SAME!!!

p/s The picture uploaded above is the ALMOST complete group. 1 more person went missing when we were taking the picture. This is the only picture we have and was taken on our high school graduation party! Cant wait for the next gathering for more pictures because this time we completely forgot to take pictures!!!!

Rupster says "Official"

Rupster is now OFFICIALLY a DIPLOMA HOLDER....but as Rupster's dad said, "Diploma is nothing much yet,so strive harder is Degree"...

The journey of Degree started way back in July actually but the OFFICIAL set of from Diploma was today. The ceromony was held at the KLCC Convention Center. Attended by 4 differents schools under the Taylor's College umbrella.

The programme was to start at 3 pm but we were requires to be there befoere 1...Till than what did everyone do???

Yeap...camwhore in that so very BIG graduation suit!!!!

Oh by the way...did Rupster talk about the deliciouse food served???

Yeah for once the money spent was worth, but Rupster did not really get to eat everything because by the time Rupster reached there 3/4 was all alomost gone in the wind!!!! Thank God Rupster managed to grab some on time.

After the ffod session,Rupster was forced to line up for more than 15 minutes just to take a studio picture!!! Will upload the studio version,group picture as well as the on the stage picture once Rupster receives it from Taylors....

Rupster says "About the KTM ride"

Rupster has been delaying this post for almost 4 weeks now...yeap you read it right! This post was suppose to be written 4 weeks back but due to time constrains it could not be done.

By now some of you would have known what this post is going to be about.

Its been 4 weeks since i joined school back after being on a break for almost 2 months. Rupster in no longer a Taylorian but is now a Metropolitanner. Rupster is in Metropolitan doing a Double Degree in Marketing and Management by Curtin University. It would be a 3 year programme with 6 semesters.

The environment in Taylor's was never like a campus because its was mostly based on office environment. Classrooms were like the same when like how how our tution centers used to be during school. Atleast Taylor's did have 3 Lecture Hall's. Of course the main campus was not like that. It was equipped with all the facilities. Our bad luck the School of Communication was located away from the main campus. On the brighter side, the Bali Campus had lots of variety of food!!! Untill we could not decide what we should eat *sigh*miss those days*.

Well everything in this world has its own pros' and cons'.

Taylors Bali Campus now turns out to be past memories. Now the journey continues in Metropolitan and in the KTM train AGAIN!!!!.

Before the first week of class we had our rather short Orientation Day. The moment Rupster steps into the ecture hall the first WOW comes out!!!! And what is that WOW for??? The Lecture Hall is so dame huge!!! Capacity..hmmm may reach a 500 maybe!!! But this intake there were around 60 of us maybe and till TODAY not everyone knows each other but its IMPROVING day by day ;)

Classes has been goin as usual for the past 4 weeks and Rupster in enjoying all the lectures because of the Lecture Hall :)..Even tutorial classes are not so bif with apoximetly 20 students per class..So its not that bad after all.

Food selection is not as good as Bali though Asia Cafe is just down the road and even Metropolitan has thier own canteen food too. Have not been eating there that much and its just 4 weeks of collge and everyone is already teling "whoaa you lost so much weight"..Rupster has no comments for that just read further down and find out why.

Travelling???

Yeap..travelling all over again in the KTM but not much difference because its just 1 station away from the previouse station. Than from the staition its suppose to be a cabbie ride. The cabbes have fixed rate at either RM 3,4,5 or sumtimes even 6!!!!*now you know where all my eating money goes to* *sigh*. There is suppose to be bus service but Rupster is yet to use the service neither saw which bust is suppose to be taken;)

Other than that Rupster has nothing much to cokmplain about the travelling issue minus the money part because travelling has always been a norm in the world of Rupster.

Rupster had planned to write so much but nothing seems to be comming out as this entry is being typed out!!

Rupster says "About July"

The year 2008 has moved on to August. And in about 4 months time we will be moving on to 2009. That is how fast the year has been going by. The first 6 months came and went like a storm. A little flashback on what had happen in the past 7 months. Before that lets look at what happen to Rupster in the month of JULY.

JULY has always been the month that Rupster always looked forward to!!! 2007 July has really been a very long month though. It started of with Sal leaving to Aussie and after she left,Rupster fell sick. Than everyone started screaming for Rupster to get well before the very last minute planned 21st birthday bash *details of the bash in the last and more to come in the next entry*.

It may have been a SICKLY cum CELEBRATING month but after all that a Rupster's Roller-Coaster life!!! Meeting almost the whole family was something that i always looked forward to and it happened in this very month of JULY...

This was the very month that Rupster had to OFFICIALLY go back to school for the 3 years double degree programme in Marketing and Management by Curtin University at Metropolitan *updates of new college life is coming soon too*

A great month with great stuff happening around...Hope AUGUST turns out to be a BOMB to because its BACK TO SCHOOL for RUPSTER...

Rupster says "About the exciting and blasting days"

Ever since the long and exciting weekend, the weekdays has also so been EXCITING and BLASTING. It actually came to a point that I did not realize it is already Thursday today. All that I remembered doing so far for this week was to sleep late and wake up early. Have my bath and than rush out of the house.

Monday was simply left to be a slacking day due to the sleepless weekend. Monday was also phone catching up day. Did so many phone calls or rather i would say "hanging on the phone". Called people that I never spoke to for a very long time.With all those telephone conversations, we decided that t some of us should meet up. Hence there starts the planning for Tuesday.

Tuesday came, and Kushbu had to go pay a parking summon. So off went stating the day of to DBKL. Since we were already at town, so we decided to walk around town and check out what was on sale in Sogo. The whole of Sogo is in CRAZY SALE!!!! Everything so dame CHEAP!!!! But i was not prepared to buy anything yet. Eyes has been set on some stuffs. So shall go back there again to get it ASAP. For lunch, we decided to have Nandos since its been a long time we ate it. Meeting us up for lunch was Geetha. So there we sat ate,drank and chatted for a very long. After all there was so much to catch up.


Geetha and I had been planning to celebrate Kusbhu's birthday ever since April. So we took this chance to do it. We bough a cake and came back to my place to cut it. Everything happened in front of the birthday girl but she did not know that the cake was for her. Well thats how PROFESSIONALS we got after many birthday surprises.






Than after the whole drama, we were in my room checking out some pictures and Thul's callas to ask if I was free the next day. Actually i had already planned with my mom and my aunty to walk around Klang to start of the wedding shopping. So I told her I was not free. Than she says that Sal and her had planned to go for Dim Sum in the morning. Since it was early in the morning I agreed. Since Khusbu and Geetha was with me they were also invited.

Tuesday came and the day started of as early as 7.45 am!!! Got ready and waited for everyone to come over to my place and off we went for Dim Sum. Talking and talking, suddenly they planned for a movie. I had to say NO because mom and my aunty were already waiting for me at home to go to Klang. Then they said "don't worry.we will come to your house and talk to them".

So the 4 girls came and attacked my house to break the news. Before my could agree these people made a deal with them saying we would send them to the KTM Satation. Thats it.the adventuress day started of from there. After the KTM station, we went over to Thul's house as she had to send her car back. Than from there we headed for Times Square to watch Kungfu Panda. Reached there just in time for the movie to start.

After the movie Geetha had to rush of because she had another movie waiting for her and this was with her college mates. So of she went and we decided to go shop around. For the first time we all actually bought the same top from FOS :)

I had yet to do that before with my friends,and that was so dame exciting because we had to choose the colours. As a conclusion, we 3 decided to get the same colour top. So one fine day don't forget to see a picture of Thu,Sal and me with the same top :)

As we were finishing shopping Geetha called to say she was done with her movie. So we all met up again for lunch which was 4 o'clock :) We decided to go to Old Town White Coffee. Being the usual girls, we actually cam-whored the whole entire day. Even in the car, and at my house before everyone went back!!! Ohh and did i say there was even a spoilt car. My outing ended at 7 but the rest at 10 because of the car :)




It was really a fun day GIRLS day out The next session is coming soon AGAIN!!!!
