2011, it seemed like just yesterday it was the 1st day of 2011, but we've finally bid our farewell to 2011 after 12 months. To say if it was a long 12 months or fast 12 months, that's individual's perspective.

For Rupster it was a very fast one. Don't know how January came and suddenly it was December. Overall it was a great year. How can it not be!

It started of so well. Though the usual ups and downs were there, but those are part and parcel of life. Life cant be on a monotonous tone. Like all the previous years, 2011 was also a very eventful year. Lots of happy and sad memories. the usual traveling was also there. Most of it back to the same places but every time new memories is created.

It has also been a very lesson teaching year in many different aspects. Life never gets easier as it goes. It just depends on how well we handle it at a whole. Life is full of lessons. We learn about ourselves, we learn about family, we learn about our friends, we learn about our partners, we learn about technology, we learn about the environment, we learn about the world. That why they say education is a never ending process!

So what ever we, what we go through we take it as a learning process in life. As a whole 2011 was a good year. A year filled with experiance. A year filled with laughters, smiles, love, tears, sorrows and not foegetting falling sick here and there..

Rupster says "About December 2011 as a whole"

December has been a really pack month which explains why there has not been much of a update. The first 10 days of the month was spent in Thailand with the geng. It was a great experience. Something very new. Compared to India which some of us were really waiting for the 10 days to end, in Bangkok we hardly realised how fast time was moving by. We in fact lost count of days!

It was an eye opener trip. Many things were acquired during that days. With the different culture and how they take life there in comparison to what we do. In cleanliness as well. Also how much initiative they take to come up in every aspect of life and their nation. We took lots of pictures. Pictures that are being uploaded for this entry is solely from the camera lens of Rupster. This is only the sneak preview. More pictures will be updated soon =). Also will be updating the places we visited throughout the 10 days.

The next weekend after we returned from Thailand, Rupster headed to Melaka *yes again*. The difference this time was with a few new people and we put up a night at the A'Famosa Resort. The apartment was very satisfying. We really had a good time in that very short period. If only we had stayed there longer it would have been much more fun! Because it was 1 night, we could not do much of activities.

This was some of the pictures taken. We hardly took any pictures. For once we totally forgot to take pictures. Thus, the only pictures we took was at the Cowboy Town where we got totally wet in the rain. And never got to watch the show at all. Being stranded there, we were forced to have dinner there to kill time. Was pricy but we did not have a choice. Thank God it was eatable.It was indeed a good catch up and a break away from work for most of them.

Christmas 2011

After Melaka, the following weekend was Christmas. Christmas 2011 was spent in JB/Singapore. It was 4 days of holidays. The last and final holiday for 2011.

Rupster says "About the Results and the short holiday"

Yes! Results is here! Finally everything cleared. This means its the last step to degree life after this. The February semester would the last and final semester. Than its a goodbye to Degree life and Hello to working life. Next semester is going to be very hectic. Though only 3 subjects, but its all very heavy subject! So its going to be a very busy semester as well.

Now back to the short break we had in Desaru. Well not really Desaru but considered to be Desaru. Complicated huh? But that it is. It was a short trip but worth every second of it. We had a great time...just that we hardly used the camera for pictures. Only while we were at the beach did the camera come out.

Other than that it was all about food, fun and talk talk. We also manage to have a short tour around JB. Not much but enough to tire ourselves!

Rupster says "About Missing in Action"

Its been a way long time since the last update! More than a month actually. It all started with study break, than exams, than Deepavali, than back to exams, a short long weekend holiday, open house and than helping out at the shop.

Study break came which means it was also the exams season. Exams went on fine. Studied did the best that could be done. Next is just to wait for the results. If everything goes on well, next semester would the final semester for Degree life. So hoping and praying hard for the best!

Exams did not help to tarnish the fun of Deepavali though. Deepavali went on as smooth as it has been like all the past years. In fact, this year there has been extra blasting. It was also the year were least pictures were taken! We were all too busy blasting our firecrackers than to take pictures!

After Deepavali it was back to exam mode. At the same time it was also "open house" planning. This year some how it was supposed to be done on a very small scale. Somehow it ended up being very big! The last time it happened was maybe 4 years back. Though we were late 2 weeks but it turned to be totally awesome! It took Rupster 1 whole week to clean the house but just hours to get messed up. The whole mess was worth though. Each and every (almost) family member were there. It was such a great reunion. Though everyone did not get the equal amount of attention but everyone entertained each other. They all mange to catch after such a long time. It was a long night indeed.

Everyone had so much fun. The food was out of the world! One of the best food! Everyone enjoyed it so much that there was not much balance left. It was also a blasting night as well. Not as much blasting but we did manage to burst some. At least the little ones had fun bursting the "pop pop's".

And than holidays are carrying on with helping out at the shop. Which means the whole day is spent. Not forgetting the little bit of driving around as well. Just before exam we headed over to JB for a short holiday because it was a long weekend. Will post up in the next entry about JB with lots of pictures!

Rupster says " About September 2011 and a Little of October"

This is a way OVERDUE post!!! Been so busy and a little of laziness has caused the blog a temporary silentness!

Lets start with the September summary. It was the usual busy month where assignments come to an end. Here rush and there rush. Chasing around group members who just never give their work on time! They promise at the start with so much sweet words than towards the end it all turns from sweet to sour to bitter!!! Very annoying! The worst part is when you keep calling them and they dont answer the freaking phone!!! grrr

Other than that September has been a usual month with the usual routines going around.

On the other hand, October is here. The month has been good. Semester is coming to an end. Which means exam time! Sadly, this time exams falls on Deepavali week! Worst part, a paper on the even and only finishes at 6! Never the less, shopping has been done. Major one though. Hehe...

We headed for Klang and it was a long and tiring day! The out come was also worth it all! This year no theme colour but it all turned out to be multi-colour year! We even bought the same colour for all of us to be worn. 2 of it are in the same design. The Background colours are the same. Just the pattern colour is different.

Since exams and Deepavali falls at the same time, the usual house celebration has been postponed to a further date. It would be just a simple gathering with the usual geng. That's all for now! Wait for the next entry! Happy Waiting!!!

Rupster says "About a Little about September"

Its the 20th day of September. So much has been happening around. Hopefully that explains the lack of updates. With attending prayers, catch up time with the family as well as with the loved one. And out of it all, the worst one is the loss of T & T.

Yes!

T & T has gone missing. They escaped because the gate was open. But that is nothing new as they do that all the time. Though they do that all the time, they know how to find their way back and we make sure we run after them. This time they escaped was an escape that they have not done for months. And thus, they have gone missing. We've gone all around the housing area to find them but yet no results. We've told people around as well.

The house feels so dull without the both of them. Their playfulness, and their naughtiness. Not forgetting their welcoming as well when anyone of us come home. Its a very weird feeling. We are still looking around and hoping they would come back soon.

Other than that, the semester is going on well. Second half has started. Its getting tougher and tougher day by day. A few more week to go before the end of the semester and than its the final exam again. Hoping hard it all will end well this semester.

Rupster says "About August"

August 2011 has the least number of postings! Other than being busy and sick, there was a little of laziness in updating. Thus, this entry is going to sum what at happen since the last entry about Melaka. After Melaka was back to school as usual with tonnes of assignments piled up!

In between all of it, falling sick at that peak period was the worst part of it all! With red eyes and horrible headache, it was unbearable. With that along came fever! There was no way of skipping a trip to the doctor. That alone took a week to recover!
After that it was temple time for the year. 10 days vegetarian and only dedicated to the temple. It was a fun year indeed. Seeing all the old people after such a long time. Many new faces as well. Thank God the 10 days came within the Raya holidays. Though it was a weeks long holiday, it did not feel so. Juggling with temple, completing assignments as well as preparing for the bestie's wedding was not a simple task! It was extremely tiring! But it was a completely memorable time. As tired as it was, it was all over shadowed by laughter ans lots of happiness.

The the usual August 28th celebration was there too. Most of us were vegetarian but yet we went to a normal seafood shop. Food was moderately ok. But the cake was super delicious!

It was also the Hari Raya and Merdeka week towards the end of August. Thus, many people were on leave. It did not feel neither like Hari Raya nor Merdeka. It was just like any other holiday weekend. As an whole, its been a month of time juggling! Lots of activities in store but everything went on fine! It was a great month after a very long time actually. Lots of get together and lots of bonding times as well

Rupster says "About Melacca 2011"

With the busy and tiring schedule, there's not been much time to update. So every opportunity got is being used.

After a very long time, the Kandiah clan had our family outing again. The place chosen was Melacca again. Simply because of its distance to KL, the good food and lots of other extra activities to be done. We did the usual activities that we usually do. Which means a lot and a lot of EATING!

This time an extra new activity was photo taking. With a Canon and Nikon the competition was pretty much tough. We took tonnes of pictures and kept comparaing each and every picture that was capture. Let this entry be short of of words and may the pictures do all the talking =). ENJOY!

How fast did July pass by! It had been a great month overall. In fact, July has always been a happy month. Filled with lots of good memories and lots of birthdays!

2011's July has been equally awesome. It was a month filled with lots of gatherings, meet-ups and tonnes tonnes of laughter. July has always been a month to look forward to. Everything that was looked forward to was just as expected.

It was also back to school for the second time of the year. Timetable is not really loved but trying very hard to love it. This means it is also back to the long traveling and waiting!

Let's wait and see what has August and the rest of the year has in store!

Rupster says "About Back to School season 2! "

This week marks the 2nd week of classes. 1st week did not seem like it was the 1st week. It felt like we were already in a month of classes.

Timetable this time is not really good. After 2 long years its back to 8 am classes! Sigh. And of all days, the first day of the week is already a 8am class!

Yes! MONDAY 8.AM!!!

The lecturer? No comments! 2 subjects same person! Sigh. Once suffered not enough. Now extra dose! Hopefully it wont be as bad as the first time. Hopefully, the lecturer has changed! But the 1st week did not show the signs of changes! =(

Things in college has not been really good. Hopefully in a week or 2 there would be some good news coming up ahead. Trying very hard to stay positive. Surprisingly, everyone does not want to accept the fact but the person itself. Maybe, they are right. Something did go wrong.

But of all people why was it Rupster?

Why not someone else?

Why not any other subjects?

Maybe there is a lesson to be learned. Lets see what the coming weeks has to bring. Hopefully it would be a good and positive feedback just like everyone is hoping for it to be. They have faith in Rupster and they are never giving up. With that vibe, Rupster shall continue to stay positive!

Rupster says "About the July Celebration 2011"

As mentioned in the previous post, there was going to be a triple celebration for the weekend. And it all happened as per planed. It was 2 birthdays and a wedding anniversary. The guess list was the usual geng. Food was all home cooked. And that explains why were we busy for the whole week. After all the hard work the outcome was a success.

Somehow, having it at home bring a lot of difference. Minus all the workload and running around, at home it feels more open. We could make all the noise we want, eat as much as we want and be as messy as possible. Need not worry about the surrounding. And the night could go on as late as we wanted it to go.

Food turned out to be awesome. There was chicken, mutton, prawns, mix vege, and a few other vegetarian dishes for the vegetarians. For once there was not much remaining. Drinks were Rupster's special mixture as usual. For dessert we had ice cream!!

Overall it was a day to be remembered. Lots of new memories. Lots of catch-ups done. It was great opportunity for everyone to chat and laugh.

Rupster says "About July 13, 2011"

The month of July is always filled with surprises, parties and celebration. This year was also the same. There year there was even a surprise. Usually, it's always Rupster who does the planning with very little hiccups. This time they had to do it for the planner itself. So hiccups were there. Though Rupster already had the suspicious but decided to play along.

At the end of the day, its the thought that counts. It was surprise given by the geng on the eve which was on the 12th. The 3 came over to the house. It was a surprise to see the rest actually. After cutting the cake we went out for supper and for the 12 am countdown.

Than came in all the wonderful SMSes and phone calls. Not forgetting the FB wall messages too. 13th was spent with the aunties. It felt like our childhood birthdays where they take us out for lunch at Semua House and walk around town. So doing that again with them felt so good. It was full of bonding moments with them. Thank the nigh was a night out with the brother. It was another brother sister bonding.

The part has been set for Saturday night. Its going to be a joined celebration of 2 birthdays and a wedding anniversary. So preparations is going on for that now. Look out for the next post on the party! Till thean ADIOS!

Rupster says "About The 2 Years"

2 years back on this date, everything turned to a complete new chapter in the roller-coaster life of Rupster. Today its been 2 years and no words can describe how it has been. 2 years has been a complete new experience.

This experience has just added more colours into life. Its been filled with bitter sweet experience. Lots of laughter. Life can never be just about happiness and joy. Definitely there is tears too. Same here. It's a completely new experience. You've got to go through it to face it and feel it.

Through the 2 years a lot has been face. Including ourselves, family as well as friends. And we have pretty much copped up well. Hope it goes on as such.

You've been such a great a person. Putting aside all the emotional downturn, Rupster is very greatfull to be part of your life. Its always been a dream. Today it is reality but it still feels like a dream. Maybe this is what the say dream come true!

Thank you for being part of my life too. Thank you for everything you have done. Rupster may be a little devil to you but a devil will always be a devil!

Rupster says "About The Not so Singapore Trip"

So off we went for the Singapore trip. Which turned out not to be so Singapore enough. The actual fact was, we all ended up camping in JB. We Arrived in JB at about 9.30 am only to realise we were not the first. Aparently some of them had already reached the day before. JB no longer has 1 house but 3 other houses as well. So all in all we have 4 houses to choose from and all of it is located in almost the same area to the extend 1 house is located opposite another house.

So we started of with breakfast at the 1st and very main house. As time passed by the crowd grew bigger and bigger. The house got more noiser. Little did we know that it was soon lunch time and we had to walk over to the opposite house for lunch. Here the crowd grew even bigger. We started to have the feel that we were all in the wedding house itself. Just that it was not complete with the tents and the traditional wedding house stuffs.

From lunch time, it was than tea time. Just before tea time, we all went back to our respective accommodation house to freshen up and get ready for the night agenda.Tea time was again back to the first house. Between all these, we all had a good time chit-chatting and catching up with so much stories. Its been a long time since the whole family gathered for a happy occasion. Everyone had so much stories to tell and share. Not forgetting it was all filled with loud laughter's.

Than we headed of to the third house for a quick dinner. It was a quick dinner for some of us as we were going over to Singapore for a short visit. After we got back from Singapore all of us just got back and slept off. Everyone were dead tired after a long day. We also had a very early morning to wake up to.

Journey to Singapore was very smooth. Though we had 5 cars following each other, everyone managed to stay together all the way. Wedding was also very beautiful. Something very different as well. And it was a great reunion for everyone! Not only to the immediate family members but also the extended family members.

Looking forward to many more happy occasions in the family =)

A month where the semester ends. Exams end AND its time for a HOLIDAY! But this is the month that time would fly by EXTRA faster than usual. Holidays can never be long because of that.Exams went on alright. Don't know what the outcome is going to be though. Hoping for the best!

June has very much improved from the last 2 months. Lots of good things are happening again. The positive shine of the year is coming back *prays hard*. This was also the month that FINALLY license has been obtained after almost 6 years! hahaha..Its a very big achievement. Finally the family has a new driver to drive them around. Which they know will never say NO to them after a little brainwashing session!

Other than that, the month was filled with the usual routines and also trips to Penang and PD. Things have got little better. Don't know if it would get back to the old times but this is something than nothing at all. 1 step at a time.

Now its JULY. A happy month with lots of things happening. Wait up for the updates =)

Rupster says "About the Double Holiday Entry"

As promised, here is the double entry on PD and Penang.

After a very long time, a outing with Sunitha finally took place. Every time we planned, it never happened. This time we made it a point that it was going to happen. Some where in between it almost got canceled but towards the last minute things just fell in to place.

So of we went. Stayed at Bayu Beach Resort. It belonged to someone she knows. The house was fully equipped. The best part was, it was full of pillows! It was like a pillow wonderland. Their set up was also perfectly done,. Simple yet the sense of comfort was there. And of course it was facing the sea!
This was one of the many holidays that we actually cooked our own meals rather than spending money on food outside. It was fun actually. Something different. Though it was all simple but it was very much filling!

It was a very relaxing form of time out. We did everything to our pace. Slept and woke up as much as we wanted. So basically all we did was eat,sleep, go out for walks, and watched tv.

Penang was also a good time out. For the first time we flew to Pennag. We stayed in a hotel called EQ hotel. The place was good. Looked like a hostel but it was a hotel. The room and the beds were very comfortable. We traveled around by the Rapid Penang bus. It may sound scarey and tiring but the bus system there was so efficient! Its always on time and the were continuously buses coming all the time.

We did the usual stuffs that Rupster usually does in Penang. Its time to find out for places and activities to do there. Sort of feeling bored of the same routinized activities there. Food also we went back to mostly the same places.

We had char kuey tiow as much as we wanted. Everywhere tasted different. Some were good and some were not. This time Rupster got to play with camera. It was learning to use it ans trying out all the different functions available.

And the journey back ended with a 4 hours bus trip back to KL=)

Rupster says "About Holidays"

Its been 2 weeks now since holidays started. PD and Penanag has been visited. Next on the list is Singapore. Not for a vacation but for a wedding.

The first 2 weeks has been busy. Was hardly at home during the day. Here and there there were things to be done. Catch time with family. Its been mostly been family for now.

The BIGGEST news of all is, license has been obtained! After so many years being driven around, now the Rupster is going to be the driver and provide taxi service. Can already see the calls coming in ;). Yet to drive yet has it takes at least a week to process the official documents. Till then its still rest time.

Things have gotten much better with God's grace. Thank God for that. It's almost back to normal. For now that's the only update for the last 2 weeks. Wait up for the PD & Penang entry soon.

Rupster says " About May 2011"

The last month of classes for this semester. Thus, all the assignments due dates were all there. Plus with the running around for final marks to see how far are we to the overall total course work and the marks needed for the finals. Most of the classes finished ahead of the planned time. So there was almost 2 week of freeness. There was still stuffs to be settled in college. So it was not really so free also.

Not a really good month. Things were not really good. So lets see what has June got for us!

Rupster says "The End of Exams"

Finally exams are done! It was not a easy one. With 3 papers in 2 days and having 1 day with 2 papers! Hopefully everything will turn out good.

This holidays will be for almost a month. So far, plans are for PD, Penang and Singapore. So lets wait and see how much fun is at all going to be!!!

Rupster says " About a Different PD experiance"

With everything that has been happening, and with exams coming in next week the mind needed a diversification in order to start focusing back. School holidays have started. So our usual school holiday vacation was also planned. This time, it was decided that were were heading towards PD since its been a long time we went there. We stayed at Corus Paradise Resort.

Located in Port Dickson, Corus Paradise Resort features a fitness and recreation centre which includes an outdoor pool with water slides.Though we never got a chance to swim in the sea, we at least got to walk along the beach and spent some time along the beach.
This time along, it was a very chilling trip. We hardly left the place. This is because the place was fully equipped with everything that was needed. As we arrived there on Friday evening, we had tea with lots of kuih-muih. Than the men went back to their crib while the ladies prepared dinner. Dinner was vegetarian steamboat since it was Friday. It was very simple but very filling. For dessert we had mangoes, apples, and bananas! The rest of the night was spent with catching up stories and chit-chatting.

The next morning, we had sandwiches and coffee. After breakfast, we got ready to go to the water park. It was quite empty. So we had a blasting time playing the water. Not forgetting our famous game monkey monkey ;). Once the senior citizens got tired, the rest of us went to play with the water slides and the waterfall. Such a great time we had with the slides and the waterfall.
With a picnic concept, we had mutton curry and bread for lunch. Simple but very sufficient for the after water activities. Some of us headed back to our room by 12.30 while the rest only came back at almost 2. They had teh session of chatting around. Than it was nap time after a tiring day at the pool. In the evening, we decided to go for the bicycle ride. Its been so long since we all had a bicycle ride. It was indeed a good time cycling around the place. We wanted to go for a massage but we were a bit late and they were not taking in bookings. So massage plan was pushed for the 3rd day. For dinner we went to a seafood restaurant outside the Resort. After dinner supper was at the resort's cafe. Rather than having cocktails we had mocktails. It was tiring 2nd day that all of us were of to bed by 1 am!

3rd day breakfast was scrambled eggs added with some mutton curry and mushroom soup. Very much filling along with coffee. Than we went for the foot massage. An experience that is never to be forgotten! Avery painful one but relieving. Something that Rupster has always wanted to do! The pain can be torture but it was very much enjoyed!

Rupster says " About Rock Climbing"

This was another first time experience. With all the things that's been happening around, this has been a very good mind diversification. For this semester we have a subject called Entrepreneurship. Students are required to get into a group of fours and choose an entrepreneur to be interviewed. One of the group decided to choose the Camp5 owner.

Camp5 is a rock climbing center located at One Utama. After all the hype created the whole class gathered at Camp5 at around 3pm at Camp5. For most of us and including our lecturer, this was our very first time. Walking in to the place felt like an amazing feeling. Looking at all the walls so high up, we wondering to ourselves "are we going to climb all that?". As scarey as it looked, the feeling of want to reach high up there was also there.

As we reached, were were asked to fill up a form containing our personal details. Than we were given our special shoes and the harness to the climbing session. The group than presented their role-play. It was than followed by a safety demonstration for the other students before they start their climbing. Once everything was explained we started our climbing.

It was indeed a very new experience. It needed a lot of determination. It can be very tiring but once reaching up at the peak, there was a sense of achievement. It was indeed a very big eye opener. We learned a lot through the experience.

There was this one part in which we were suppose to climb the rock all the way up and that let go. You go swinging. As simple as it may sound, but it was not! It was not easy to let go. That's when we all realised the quote saying " let it go' is never as simple as it is. It was how much trust you have on your self and the person who is handling you. To let go was the toughest!

Rupster says " About When is The End?"

How long more is all this going to take? There's just to much to be absorbed! Exam's is around the corner too. Time table is out. All 3 papers in 2 days of the first week. Longer holidays but studying is going to be terror!

With everything that is going on, there is no peace in mind. They said it easily, push everything to a side and focus but its always easier said that done. Not much improvement is seen. Its just been the same. No one is moving. And the one stuck in the middle is still very much stuck and is grasping for as much air as possible!

Why on earth all these would ever happen in this world? WHY? Though its not been the first time, but the second one was not at all looked forward to and never expected it to happen. Its been a bad one this time around. Everyone is wondering of the next step. But when that thing called EGO is the biggest obstacle, what is there to help other than we ourselves!

Hating everything that is happening now. Never want to turn back and look at this dark chapter in the future. This could be the biggest lesson in life but this is one of the hated lessons ever!

What on earth is happening to this world??????? Everything seems to be dropping apart. Just as you think things are doing great after all these years something just has to come in and ruin it. It keeps happening. Approximately at least 10 years once. This time it has gone really bad!

Dont know what is going to happen. This uses up so much of emotions and could just drive you mad. Worst still when you are stuck in the middle and dont know what on earth to do. How much tears has involved. But tears is never the answer.

Not everyone can help but ourselves. As much as we try we hope it is going to be better. There are people trying to help work things out. Hopefully its going to bare a fruit soon. The others can only listen and share their support.

To those of you who have been helping us get through this thank you so much! No words can show how much gratitude we have towards you. And for the dear friends, thank you so much for lending your shoulder's to lean on to cry and talk things out. Thank you so much for all the advices. Hoping everything will turn back to normal very very soon!

Excuse for the late update of the happening of April. There was way too much work to be done. With assignment due dates. Going here and there to get things done.

Mid term studying. Its not been a good ride. But as an all it was a moth of celebrations. Lots of happy moments with the loved ones.

As usual, its been a month of learning. Lot's of new experiences. The usual emotional up and down was there but nothing can stop that from happening. We learn about life there. We learn about people from misunderstandings.

Days and time seems to be moving so fast. Its unbelievable how fast things are going. Everyday there is something new happening. Good and bad. It such a BALANCE life!!

The year started of well. Some how along the way it was not flowing as good as it was when it first started. it is understood things can never run smoothly. Just when you think everything is okey that is when it turns out not to be okey.

3rd year has been quite a HELL. It just does not seem to be blending in well. Half the semester is almost gone. Don't know what else is there more to face. Any how, to think POSITIVE is how it is suppose to be. Trying hard and will keep trying till the bright shine comes.Thank God there are so many great people around to keep encouraging!

Maybe that is why there has been very little update here these days!

Everyone has been busy with things around. We've been trying our best to keep up with things. Here and there when we get time, we meet up for chats but with the whole geng together has not been happening. Plans are on the way. Things are being planned and all of us are looking forward to it!

As hell as things are but it is also filled with lots of fun and laughter. So everything is very much balanced =)

Rupster says "About the Long Kept Surprise"

Finally the much awaited and long time planning was executed! The surprise was a surprise until the VIP walks in.

What was the surprise about? It was a 2 months long secretly planned 31st Wedding anniversary for parents. The process was pretty much tough but we manage to get through it. We had an awesome group of people to help us and guide us through.

It was held at the Royal Commonwealth Club situated at Damansara Heights. The invited guests were in time. In fact, some came in much much earlier. We estimated about 100 guests and from the 100 we shortlisted to about 80 people.And true enough, our estimation went right. Everyone that Rupster really wanted to see turned up.

The guest of honour walked at about 8.15 pm with full of mixed emotions. Their expressions were beyond explainable! Overall everything went on smoothly!

Though did not get to spend much time with everyone, seeing them alone was pleasing enough! Food was so good but sadly Rupster did not get to enjoy it! The taste was as pleasing as the smell! That's how good the food was.

STRESS!!!

That's the ONE and only word that could describe how MAD March was! It was filled with 2 assignments due on the same day. Had a test to study for and the whole lot of the planning for the April mission! For the first time, there was not much of procrastinations for starting of the assignments.

This was because, the outcome was expected. And thank God everything was started and finished way before the due date. So the only thing left was the final brush up before it was printed and handed in. Than there was the test to study for. What test? A freaking ACCOUNTS test! As it is the hatred towards numbers is so bad, and when you've got to sit and study it because you got to get through it this time makes the hatred even more worst.

Lecturer was so kind enough to give us extra questions to practice on. She was also so kind enough to stay back and give a 1 to 1 coaching to some of us. Hopefully that had helped enough! And the worst part is the test and the mega plan falls on the same day! Lucky the test was is in the morning!

Planning has all reached to the final stage. As time got closer, things were just falling in place perfectly. The right people was contacted at the right time. So all is fine. Wait for the next post on the mega event!

Other than that, life has been good. Everything is going on fine. The usual mamaks, the usual meet ups does still happen but all with a last minute planning. Thats the only time we call and make it a point to meet. Or else everyone would keep saying busy and nothing happens. Some busy with classes. Some busy with work. With this meet up, its stress relieve time! Though its every week but at least once a month we catch up.

So basically, that's the update for the STRESS month!

Rupster says " About THE Planning! "

This is the third week of school. Usually it is still the "happy-hours" until we get into the 2nd month of classes. This time around it is completely different. Just in the 4th week we have and MCQ Test to be done. Than on the 4th week is the mid-semester test. Lucky it is only for a subject!

The 5th week has an individual assignment due. And to make things worst the Mid-semester test and the mega plan that is being planned falls on the same day! How UNLUCKY!

So this time around it is completely about time management! TOTALLY time management! Thank god the enthusiasm for completing the assignments has started! The individual assignment is half way through to complete. Lucky thing it is something easy and does not need much of a referencing.

The planning for the night has also been going on smoothly. Chief guests has been informed about it. Both given green-light. The events for the nights is in the mid's of planning. Location and food has all been settle.

Left is the decoration planning. Yet to give any thought about it yet. Not being able to be around for the last minute touch ups is going to be very difficult. Hopefully the "elected" committee would be able to get through it.

So much of fun drama is going around with all these planing. The "elected" committee is doing such a good job in creating all the drama! All of us could be nominated for the Oscar's if this turns out to be a success! The "elected" committee who is curently jobless will have all their time paid back on that day itself! It's going to be a long day people! But the outcome is going to be a very memorable one! That's for sure! Keep your camera's on standby too! It's going to be very colorful!

Other than the decoration pending, the only thing pending is the guest invitation. We don't want to make it too early to kill the suspens or neither do we want to do it too late to avoid disability of the guests. Best time would be around this week or next. Once that is done than it is SHOW TIME!

Rupster says " About Back to School 2011"

2 weeks of school it has been! The first 2 weeks has never been as stressful as this! Usually the first month is very relaxing. This time the first month itself is a horror! So much deadlines. Plus with the mega planning it has made it even more stressful!

Timetable is not that pack, but classes daily makes it feel tiring and the week seems to be extra longer! Thank God this time the timings are not bad at all. Earliest class is at 10 and finishes latest by 4. Though half the time it is not prolonged to 4. So things are not bad at all.

Finally learned to use the bus! So easy! *regrets*. Going is not a problem because the bus is always waiting at the station. Just that the coming back, got to wait for sometime for the bus. Very very economical! Sometimes need not wait as someone sends to the station.

With the new semester beginning, the main aim is to get thorough all the subjects and finish on time. If it all goes well, by middle of next year Degree should be done. This new semester is has also another aim. To loose weight!

Yes. Its time to cut down on FOOD! Basically this first two weeks rice intakes has been totally reduced. Rice is only consumed in the weekend but with a very minimal quantity. It is a bit hard to avoid rice but when the results is seen within days it feels so good! So this has to continue!

At the same time the MEGA planning has to be well planned and well executed! It's not easy but the group that we have to help us out is our strength! Cant wait for the outcome! At the same time, assignments got to be started early in order nothing clashes because almost everything is due on the same week! Not forgetting mid-semester tests as well!

The second month of the year ended with just 28 days!

The end of February also means the end of the very long holidays! Holidays would always be missed! The month was also not that after all. The gatherings just seems to be getting more often these days. Everyone is already starting to realise no matter how busy we are, we still got to find time.

That the was G-Girls convocation *she hates the name!*. We were not invited. So we invited ourselves or rather we forced her to invite us! ;) It was one long day, yet filled with so much fun! Probably because of the camera the excitement got built even more! After a very long time, this was the day we took so much pictures!

Friends aside, there was also the usual family gatherings and outings. Saturdays have been really packed. And that also means its been full of food! There is also a BIG MEGA plan coming out soon for April. So watch out!

Rupster says " About G-Girl's Big Day"

Another Saturday that came and flew by so fast. The day out started at about 11 am. Location was to KLCC Convention Center but before that we had to go to Petaling Street to but the flower bouquet.

After that headed if straight to KLCC. In KLCC all we did was cam-whoring because Rupster mange to get the XSLR camera. So it was a toy that got us all very excited! So all we did was pose, click, pose, click and pose, click.

It was indeed a good day out for us after a very long time since everyone is busy with work and all.

Going back to the Convention Center reminded Rupster of the Diploma graduation that we had there. Rupster did not have geng to cam-hoar like what we did yesterday. In other words it was like a pay-back time. Properly for Degree in would be much more fun!

And yes it is in Aussie land!!! Have told everyone to start saving from now. So lets see who ends up coming. For now the number of people said coming seems to be very promising though!

So, hopefully the pictures meant a thousand of words. There are actually more pictures, but since it is very time consuming here is the first batch. Will upload more when there is more time.

Rupster says " About January 2011"

It's surprisingly been a great month of January! Almost everyday was looked forward to. Though nothing much has been done but everyday turned out to be a fine day.

Finally the driving course has started back! Studied so hard for the computer test that i don't remember studying that hard for school exams! Luckily manage to get through! To process the L takes a bout a week. And by the time the one week was up, it was Penang time. Wanted to start after Penang but fell very ill. So that is still pending! Hopefully it would be done before the semester starts in March!

There's been a few reunion outings too but believe it or not, not much pictures we taken! So there's not really much picture updates for January. Other than that, new electrical equipments had joined the household for this new year. A TV and as well as a oven! Yes! An Oven!

Finally Rupster gets to bake! The baking interest has always been there but just that Rupster never got the chance to do it. Now is the time! So far, it has only been butter cakes. Next on the line would be a Banana cake and cupcakes too. Not forgetting lots of cookies as well!

The first cake turned out to be good. There was a mix of feedback's from those who manage to taste it. Some said the level of sweetness was just nice. Some said not sweet and some said too sweet. While mixing the ingredients the amount of sugar was reduced. But at the end of the day, it depends on each individual on how they like the level of sweetness. For a first try they all said it was good =)

The way the month started, hopefully the whole year would be as such. May be hard to be as such but Rupster will try to make it work out as best as possible.

Rupster says " About Thaipusam 2011"

A very memorable trip filled with lot's of laughter and DRAMA!

Yes DRAMA!
We left KL on the 19th morning after seeing the chariot procession. Both the cars convoyed all the way. Had a pit-stop for breakfast at about 10.30. Home cooked food since we were all vegetarians. We stopped by at Tapah, opened up all the food we had brought along. The menu was vegetarian spaghetti, fried mee-hoon and the vegetarian fried chicken. Everything was so yummy!

After breakfast we continued the journey and reached Penang at about 1.30. Since we were staying near the beach, we finished all the errands in town first before heading to the apartment. 1st day at the aprtment was super DRAMAish...haha..something that we would never forget for life time! Drama aside...

As the evening approached, we got ready to go to the temple to see the chariot procession. It was as expected. Very CROWDED! And in that crowd we still managed to spot familiar faces! Went home and the dramas' continued. So much of planning hoping the next day would be better.

The 2nd day was Thaipusam day. So the day started early. As we woke up, all the plans that we planned night before had to be forgotten about. haha...So off we went to the temple which was so super crowded! Thank god the weather was very very fine. No rain no sun....it was the perfect weather! But the crowd was bad.

Penang's Thaipusam is always looked forward because of the pretty looking kavadis as well as well decorated tents. This we can never get in KL. We finished everything and went back to the apartment at about 2 something. Came back we continued the table talks, had tea and got ready to hit the pool for a swim!

That is EXCITEMENT! So much fun. We were practically splashing water all around the place. And in that excitement some truths were revealed too *evil laugh*. After all that swimming and fun we went for dinner. Being a vegetarian is easy. But being a vegetarian in a place like Penang is hard! Lucky we manage to survive the 2 days!

Day 3 was shopping day! And this time we really shopped! We've never shopped as much as this before! The whole day out we spent time on shopping! Shopped and shopped till we never dropped! Left the apartment in the morning and only got home at around 5 something. We were so dead tired and decided to cancel our pool and beach plan! Yes! That was something that we rarely did but we were just to exausted with all the shopping and walking around.

That night, we finally broke our vegetarian fast. So it was definitely happening at GURNEY DRIVE! This is the heaven of food! We ordered all that we wanted and enjoyed it all. Though we were too stuffed we were very much delighted with all we had. To digest all the over consumption of food, it was time to continue shopping! Yes. Shopping AGAIN! At the day only ended at 1.30 am!

The last day, we forced ourselves out from the bed to hit the beach and the pool! Had a really good swim. Tired ourselves to the maximum. And by than we were already feeling hungry. And lunch was nasi kandar. The usual Line Clear nasi kandar!

We ate ate and ate! We were lucky to be there early and get a place to sit. As we were coming out of the shop, the line was so long. Right till the road! After lunch these people continued to shop again! Shopping was not on the list but we ended shopping even more! And finally we left Penang Island at about 3.30 pm!

Owh yes! This was the the only trip that we manage to see the best sunset ever!! and not forgetting the best full moon ever seen! We even slept accompanied by the full moon! It was so beautiful to look at. Especially when you the reflection on the sea! It is the best feeling and no words can describe how beautiful it was.

A very unique binary number. And to add to the uniqueness there is also another memorable event to add to this date that happened sometime back.

Time really flies fast. It has already been a year and a half now. Wonder where did all that one year plus go to! No matter what it has been a great journey. Looking forward to a better and greater journey. It is never easy, but than again it is all in the package of LIFE. Got to face, fight it and gain a huge VICTORY!

Rupster says " About the Awsome starting week of 2011"

The first week of the New Year has been a blast. Things never was this good. The was a appropriate amount of fun, laughter, busyness, tiredness and all the emo-ness.

How nice if things were always this good!

Thursday evening, Sharu suddenly appears at the gate and says "lets go to temple". An immediate answer was YES! So of we went, done with the 1st stop we decided why not go to a second one as well. Without thinking further we headed to Brickfields for the second stop. Once but the temple were done it was dinner time.

And this is the best part. For a reason everyone should know by now. This is because it was catch-up time! Way too many stories we covered! And that led to a discussion of a dinner meet up the next day.

The whole of Friday went on smoothly but the highlight was in the night. After much of a last minute planning, calling here and there finally the 6 of us met up for dinner. Starting of at Station One Cafe at Viva, Jalan Ipoh. It was totally madness. Some never saw each other since the last day of school. For the amount of noise we made, we had many people turning and looking back at us.

So we decided to change the location. Where else would we go if it is not Jalan Ipoh's famous Uma Rani (UR). And that is when it really turned to pure madness! Very very mad! People surrounding would have thought we were drunk or something. But no! We were not drunk or what so ever. It was just the excitement and craziness we had in us! And we were super LOUD!

We had so much fun talking and making noise! To the extend we forgot to snap more pictures!!! Though some of us never met for years, but it seemed like we always met and kept in touch. We've planned for another one, hopefully it does take place!

Rupster says " About the Girl's Day Out"

It is the second day of the new year and there was no plans for the day but to just sit at home do nothing. Suddenly the phone rings "get ready and wait. We will be there in 3 minutes and wear formal!" That was the only instruction given.

After so many attempts of asking still no information was given. The only information given was we were going somewhere for a good meal! With no other choice, Rupster got dressed an followed them. Location was to The Curve.

Food was so good! The day was good! It was such a great idea. For once Rupster was not the planner! So it was extremely very relaxing! All we did was eat, drink, talk, laugh, laugh,watch movie, laugh, laugh, laugh and laugh!

This is one of the very first time the conversation went really mad! We've known each other for years BUT it never got this bad! It was so much fun!

It would be so much fun if we could do it all the time! But sadly we cant do it often but definately there is many more such "sessions" to come! =)

2010....
Has been a very good roller-coaster ride.

Lots of lessons learned.

Good and bad.

Happy and sad.

Joy and sorrow.
It would be hard to forget 2010.

This was the year we lost the most dearest person to us. She was 87. But we believe she has a good life. Being able to see all her children grow old, grandchildren grow up and the still growing numbers of great-grandchildren.

That a side, it has also been a happy year too. New additions to the family, birthday parties, surprise birthdays, and lots of lots of reunions and meeting ups. New friends. Friends that we've never met for years started coming back to the picture.

College was also not too bad either. Though there were tough times, Rupster believes they are the best lessons in life. So just got to take that as guideline to improve and be better. There's been a definite improvement in results to. And that has got to continue for new year too!

Somethings that happened last year still has not recovered very much this year. Rupster misses all those good times. Don't know if it is ever going to get back to normal...

Holidays has been good to. The usual cuti-cuti Malaysia to Penang, Melacca, PD. The usual spots but every time its a different experience! There are a lot more places to go to but some how we just end up at the same place. And the FUN is still always there! No matter if it is with the family or friends!

It has not been a easy year too. It has been a very emotional year. Don't know for what reason but it has just been like that.

Lot's of good and bad had happened.

Lot's of memorable incidents and unforgettable incidents.

Lot's of life long memories that we could go on and on talking about.

It was indeed a ROLLER-COASTER 2010!!!!

So here we are at the FINALE of 2010....

DECEMBER !!!!!

What a month it has been. Yes, Rupster admits not doing anything much but all those that has been done is worth every single second on it! Half the time bumming around the shop but those usual weekend outings has been so much fun.

With the whole geng being around, every weekend there was always a meet up. Than there was our usual outing to some place. This time, after a very long time we chose PD. Not everyone could make it but at least most of us tried our best to be there.

It was not much of a emotional month too! *thank god*. Hopefully the new year would carry on as such. But as usual it was filled with food, food and more food! That is something we cant say NO to! No matter out with family, friends or even with the KK's there has always been tonnes and tonnes of food!

It indeed been a great month with lots of prayers being answered. Rupster is very glad of that. But at the same time it comes with lots of hard work too!

Rupster very much loved the last month of the year!!!

Rupster says "About Christmas With Friends"

It has been more than a week since the last update. We've actually been busy planning for the clan's reunion. Everyone has been busy and to get everyone agree on the same date had not been an easy task at all. After lots of discussions and persuading we finally choose the Christmas weekend as our outing time to PD.

For Rupster, this is the first Christmas with friends. It was so much fun. We decided that we should exchange gifts. So everyone brought their own gifts and we exchanged it among ourselves as the clock ticked 12 a.m on 25 December. We even had so much food that we could not finish and it ended up lasting us for 3 long days!

PD was pretty much crowded being it a long holiday weekend. Well actually was very crowded that is why we opted for PD. We were very lucky to get a place after so many attempts of phone calls!
We stayed in this place called Corus Paradise Resort. We did not take their hotel but took the apartment of 3 rooms. The place was good. Even the sea water was so clean!

The first night went by with so many games and stories. For the second day we had our usual must have menu SEAFOOD. Nothing to shout-out about the food but it did satisfy us. Than we decided to go for the fun-fair that we saw near by the eating shop. It has been ages since we all set foot at a fun-fair, and being us the crazy bunch we just went mad. Went on all the rides we wanted. And not forgetting the "Ghost House" as well!

As soon as we went back we showered and headed to the beach. This time it was a belated surprise birthday for Salveen. It was a picnic style. Just that it was a night picnic. We had poppers too just like a indoor party. As we sang, the near by people also joined the chorus. Just as we were done cutting the cake, it started raining. Thank god there was small huts built along the beach by the management. So we moved on there, chit-chatted for sometime and headed back to our apartment.

Next day was the beach day. Headed to the beach for a swim. Was very crowded but we manged to have all the fun we wanted to have. It was a great outing but the was not complete. But still we hard most of them around. There is definitely another one next year. Location is still under discussion!

Half of December is done. Holidays has been okay so far. Have not been doing much though other than bumming around the shop with parents and doing nothing. Well not really also. We've been busy planning our girlie year end reunion!
Sal is back. So there is always a stay over when ever she is back. Everything planned this time is pretty much last minute because of the clashing of dates. And so the final decision is we chose the Christmas weekend which falls on the 24th,25 and 26th. First time its going to be a Christmas with friends. Looking forward for lots of fun! With a group of 9 people it is definitely going to be so much fun!

Shall keep the vacation updates aside for now. Over the weekend, we had a 50th Birthday party to go to. Was held at the Royal Commonwealth Club (RCS) located in Damansara. Uncle Vijay turned 50! Well he does not look his age though!

He started of planning his own birthday until his friends stepped and said "you cant be organising your own birthday!" So they took over and he never knew what was going to happen. It was a very very good night we had!

The food was good. It was nice seeing all his friends around and them talking about their good old days in school. All the good and bad things they used to do together. But getting dragged to the dance floor by the birthday boy to start of the dance floor was not good at all! As the crowd started joining the dance floor we sort of got used to it. Being it the KK geng we would just go ahead and create havoc. So yea we just danced all night through.

Rupster does not really dance and cant dance but that night, may be because of the company around we just danced! Was very tiring! And with the high heels, it made it more tiring. As it is the whole day was spent walking around shopping for clothes! So it was total knock out day!

It was such fun after so long! We really had a good time laughing,dancing and how could be not forget the camera too!

This was month full of emotions!

All thanks to something called EXAMs!!!! grrrr..it could really turn your life like hell! Just with that one thing in hand it is enough to ruin all the other things in life!

Because of that, nothing really much happened for the month! It was all about read...read...read...and read...read.....but there was still the usual family and friends outing. Nothing much but just the usual weekly happening events.

After exams, the next day it was straight away outing time. Went out with the little girl for a movie before they left for the NZ trip. It was a long time pending promise from Rupster to her. 3 days continuously it was outing with the KK's family. Was helping them for the last minute preparations for the NZ trip. Even followed them to the airport for the send-of.

Now its December, lets see what has the last month of the year has for Rupster! See you next year for December's highlights!

YEAR END HOLIDAYS is here AGAIN!!!

After months going through of a HELL semester, holidays are here again. Exam are all done. Not too sure how exam results are going to be! Its been a really tough semester and what ever is the end results are, its got to be accepted. Rupster takes all the blame for what ever is to come!

Exams aside. Its time for holidays again. Not like all the other holidays, not much has been planned for this break. So what ever comes in along the way shall just go with the flow. Other than that, Rupster has other thing sin mind to settle with.

Let's see if it all turns out right. This is the only time left. So it is all got to be done with no more choice left! *sigh* Where to find motivation for that!!! =(((

Rupster says "About Deepavali 2010"

As mentioned in the previous entry, Deepavali this year has been very much different as expected. Our Deepavali norm starts of with an open-house do at our place than the morning of Deepavali we would go to temple than head straigh of to Gombak as there are 3 houses to cover. Than come back in the evening, freshen up and start the night session outings.
This year, the was no eve do, so it was taken over by Rupster's aunty in Kepong. That really helped Rupster get the spirit of Deepavali this year. Before that, there was no spirit of Deepavali any where around. There was no time to even go shopping and get the festive spirit. It was indeed tiring as the night before lacked of sleep! Than Rupster had to do the usual climbing here and there hanging the lights and carrying all the heavy stuffs. The worst was carrying the huge antique chair they had to be thrown away! Even till today the body still aches!

But it was a nice family reunion. Seeing everyone again. Not that we dont meet often but it has always been incomplete. These type of days that brings everyone together. This year was more lighted up as the little ones have grown and entertained us all night. From 1 it grew to 2...So the 2 really made the day more colourful!

Deepavali day we headed to the temple in the morning. Not knowing where to go, we decided to go to KK's place. Their place has always been the last stop for the day and that is where we do the finale of fireworks and crackers.

So of we went to their house. People say, no matter how often you eat tosai but the taste of tosai that comes on deepavali morning is very much different. And indeed it was very much different! Don't know why but it just tasted extra delicious! In fact, this is the first year we actually had tosai in the morning after such a long time. Used to have tosai at aunty's place those days but our timing later on changed so we went there in time for lunch.

So we spent the whole morning at KK's place. At about noon we got back and it was time for Rupster to go for her own Deepavali outing. All these years, Rupster never really got the chance to go out visiting friends on Deepavali day though they invite without fail every year. This is year was a great chance to pay them a visit.

4 houses in total. With a lot of food and Deepavali goodies. Meeting Sunitha after such a long time was so much fun! Rupster was trying hard to make to her place as she always comes over when ever she is invited. We had so much to catch up on. Though it was for a very short while, but we managed to catch quite a bit! Short time but we still mange to do all our usual crazy stuffs which includes taking lots and lots of pictures!

Some how, this year's celebration passed by well enough without the feeling of something missing. Yet, deep down in the heart, Rupster still misses the usual routine we had the last 22 years! Next year it would be back to normal again but wonder how the routine is going to work.

2 days after Deepavli is another day of the year Rupster always looks forward to. That is when the whole entire of dad's side of the family gathers. We used to have so much fun though it was only a prayer. We spent the entire day there chit-chatting, playing games and just catching up with each other. Its going to be a very different scenario after this. Someone has to do something about it! or else we would only end up meeting at weddings or any other family functions!It would never be the same again but lets see what happens next year!

After finishing with the 4 houses, Rupster had to join thef amily back. And so that was another house to go to with the same food and delicious Deepavali goodies! Once done there we headed back to KK's place again to play our usual fireworks and crakers!

So thats how the whole Deepavali of 2010 was spent! A very new experience and lots of unexpected things occurred but this is all just a good and positive signs!

Rupster says "About October 2010"

A busy month it has been. Busy with college and submissions of assignment. For some weird reason, this semester all the assignments were due towards the end of the semester. So there was definitely lots of rush. Plus, most of it has been group work. Rupster has always looked forwards to group work but this time it all turned out to be a disaster! Yes TOTAL disaster! Hated it to the max! 5 peoples work being done by 2 people is never a easy task! On top of that only finding out it was not done just the night before and the morning of submission was a real KILLER!

Rupster has always had the policy of no matter how last minute the work is being done, it has to be done and finished the night before the submission date. Or else Rupster would be having nightmares all throughout the night! This time, it was totally the opposite. It was just finished in time before the submission time at 4pm. This was how bad things got! And they just never bothered to offer any help in any form! Grrrr

Other than college, October has also been a very testing month in term of emotions! Only God knows why. Its been really hard to go through all of these! Mind diverting has only been the way out of it. So there enters the world of Television, Facebook and YouTube! Not that it does not help at all but it does. If any of these don't help than its time to turn to games!

Outings still is there. Mostly all last minute plannings so there is hardly any time to look-forward to something exciting. But the last minute rush is equally exciting too. Classes are all finished and done for the semester! Now its time mug the books and notes for the semester for the next 2 weeks. Nerding time! But before that its Deepavali time.

Don't know how is it going to be this year. After 22 years of our usual routine, this year onwards its going to be very different without grandma being around. This year would be a very low-key because there is no celebration as a mark of respect of her death. So let's see what is install for Deepavli this year. It's only after Deepavali that major studying spree starts!

Rupster says " About Everything is Ending"

A tough semester it has been! Just cant wait for this semester to end! With all the inappropriate hours of traveling, jam-packed trains, delayed train, last minute rush of assignment by group members, and all sorts of other things!

Working in a group can be fun but that is only when you know your team members well enough. Though we start late, everyone is done by the time promised. But how if you hardly know them? Well this time it really hit Rupster hard! At the begining they were doing fine, but as time went on, they started giving all sorts of excuses! Sigh...Never went through this situation all through a student life! This was the worst!

2 people ended up doing of 3 people...name sake there were 5 names in the cover sheet! At times, thinking of it, it is just not fair but at the end of the day we want the marks too! So we just cant afford to give but to do their part of the work as well!

The worst part is compiling the entire thing hours before submission date! Rupster hates that the most and never does that at all! No matter how late Rupster starts the work given latest it is finished should be the night before. Before going to be bed, let it be what ever time! Hate going to bed knowing something is not done is due the next day!

Well, maybe that's how life is! What is life without compromising! So we got to give and take to have a pleasant flight ahead of us!

Rupster says "About 10.10.10"

10/10/10 was a date chosen by us to meet up! We last had the entire group together was way back in school which was about 6 years ago. Not that we totally lost contact. We did meet up in between but it was never complete. Even this is is not complete. 1 more important member could not make it...

After much of planning and decisions, we finally choose Mid Valley to meet up since it was the central point for all of us to get there. There was a slight delay in the timing, so by the time we reached there was already lunch time. Being it a Sunday and the place being Mid Valley, it would not easy to find a spot to eat.

Since we decided Pizza Hut, we had to wait for about 10 minutes before we could get our seats! But God knows how fast time moved on as soon as we sat on the seat! So much stories and it was day filled lots and lots of laughter!

Many of us have changed. But the "kiddos" in us have yet to change! We still bully each other. And the person who always gets bullies is still the very same person since we were in our 1st year if high school!

We had lots to catch up and lots to patch back among ourselves. Over food, we laughed and talked all the way not realising time has been really passing by fast. We even did not realise that there was someone watching us! Yes! It felt like we were stalked by this one particular waiter there!

Feeling the discomfort of being watched we decided to walk around the mall, get some more food to munch on. Through that journey, we took tonnes of pictures!

Only than did we realise, we only had 1 picture of all of us when we were in school..So we took more and more pictures!

We ended the day at almost 7 because everyone had other plans planned for the night. Some of us were trying to meet up for the night to continue the session but it just did not work out. As an all, the day turned out to be a very fun and memorable day for all of us. Going down memory lane, is something very beautiful to look at! Looking forward to more such events!

September. The 9th month of the year. Lots of this has been happening. Its been a great month indeed. Filled with lots of emotions and important dates to keep in mind! Its also been month with a little traveling. Not only the the traveling to college but also traveling to other states of the country!

We made it to Malacca with the family. Than to Johore. The following weekend after Johore was Seremban. And in between a few other places as well! And not forgetting the highlight of the month which was the 60th Birthday bash! Very short planning but we believe it turned out awesomely!

Other than that, its just been the usual school going routine. A truth revealing month as well. Thankfully it all turned to be very smooth! Don't know what more is there to come but just got to keep staying strong and believe in ourselves!

Rupster says "About the trip to Down South"

During our childhood, one of the most looked forward trip was the trip we went as a family to down south which is Johore Bahru to visit dad's sister there. As time went on, we hardly went there as everyone was busy with their own lives since all 3 of them are married. Than last December, Rupster went down again for Christmas with friends. Mange to stay for 3 nights in aunty's place. though uncle and aunty were in KL at that time, cousin brother and wife were there to entertain Rupster.
Last weekend, 25th to 27th September Rupster headed for down south again. This time was to attend a graduation ceremony at UTM. It was a very last minute decision to go though. But after going and coming there was no regrets at all! The experiance was totally unexplainable. Never really got to see such things happening in a Private University or College.

So going through that whole experience was something memorable, and most importantly the person who graduated! The weather was not very fine though. It was raining through out the day. In fact, all the 3 days there it was raining.

The 1st night we spent by touring the whole campus of UTM. The campus was freaking huge! We went on a night tour rather than a day time tour. The scenery was fantastic. Especially the scenery we saw from the hill. How often you see a clear night sky with a ring around the moon? Yes! That was what we saw first thing as we got out of the car.

With a glance the 1st night was gone. Than came the second day. Which we literally spent the whole day in the car going here and there. Not forgetting catching a movie to fill in time and a little shopping as well.

Rupster says " About Suprise 60th Bash"

Its been a month filled with public holidays too! Yes. Because it is the festive season time, Almost all the Thursday in September seems to be a public holiday! So there you go! Even longer weekends cum holidays!Hari Raya is all about Ketupat, lemang and rendang! And Rupster has been having lots of them!

Rupster has been sort of busy actually. With the horrible timetable in hand, with the loads and loads of homework that need to be submitted even the long weekend does not seem a long weekend.

Updates has been very bad this whole month! Its already the 20th day of the month and it is just the second post of the month! Well actually the 1st since the other post was the overall happening for August!

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the worst days because that is when we rush to finish our work! Plus with all the assignments, getting the group members to get done with their work is never easy!

All the busy schedule, also included a surprise 60th Birthday party for dad. To get the guest and to make them understand not to say a single word to him was easy. But keeping him at home and doing the preparations was not easy at all! There was an idea to send him for visiting but he would not go alone unless mum or Rupster follows. Mum could not go because she had to do the cooking.

The menu was basically on a pot-luck concept. At the end of the day, everything turned out perfectly! Everyone loved the food and not forgetting the CAKE! It was a Mango flavored ice cream cake. Tobby & Teddy @ T&T looked super cute on the cake!

Rupster says " About August "

A month that brings back thousands of memories to Malaysia. A month that is filled with history or the nation. As for Rupster it has also been a memorable one. In fact, every second, every minute, every hour,every day, every month, every year has been a very memorable event happening for Rupster.

Its been a great time with family and loved ones. Never really got time to spend with friends but that a few days spent with the friends was enough to cover for everything that has been missed! Lots of things has been happening. Wonder where the all the strenghts has been coming from!

Classes has been going on good. So much to be done in such a short time! Its been a very very hectic semester.If not for that awfully made timetable semester would have been great with a combination of light and heavy subjects! Thanks to that ugly timetable it is all heavy subjects now! Long weekends yes but it does not make any difference at all other than reduces traveling time!

Temple events have ended but that was just for 2 weeks. September comes it again another 10 days of vegetarian spree. Well nothing new of going vegetarian as half the time food at home is vegetarian unless we go out!

After such a long time, the Kandiah's went for another family outing. Melacca again but it was indeed a memorable one. As usual it was filled with so much food! Wonder how long more can we go on like this with that much of food consumption within hours!! So that was how Merdeka was celebrated this year! It was pretty much very dull but the usual fireworks was there to entertain!

Rupster says " About the Family Trip to Lookout Point "

The much awaited weekend finally arrived! We were waiting for the new addition to the family for more than a month now. After so much hassle and waiting finally on the 20th of August 2008, WUE 7..5 finally came home. This this it is a Perodua Alza. Which serves as MPV@CAR.

To take it for a drive, we decided to go to Lookout Point with the geng. We wanted something different. So there we were at Lookout point after quite an adventurous drive! Food was definately Western because we wanted it for a change! The rest all the pictures will say it because the fun we had no words would describe it. We did not really take much pictures this time because we were too busy talking and laughing!

Rupster says " About the Second Week!"

Its already been the second week and class timetable is still not stabled yet! They keep changing the timing. Rupster had a perfect timetable without any clashes. They changed it and now its clashing!

It's never been like this for the last 4 semesters! With new management and all the take over process is causing havoc! Not only to the existing management but also to the staff, lecturers and students!

Yet, salute to the lecturers. They make it as though everything is going on as usual and keep telling us everything will be ok soon. With all these, work has also been piling up! So much! Every week there is something to hand up! Killer!!

With all the subject having almost the same name and the same lecturer is making things worst! Everyone is just so confused on which is which! Even the lecturer herself! hahaha...We see her so much in a week and not forgetting in a day as well!!! She is so funny but very informative. Wonder how she juggles the element of joke and information together to make it interesting and not just facts as examples!

Its going to be really tough! And it is tough! With this is mind and all the other things in mind, it is just getting way too complicated! Sigh....why does all these just need to happen? Why can't everything be as smooth as possible?

Than may be that not life than. Anyways, everything will be okey soon. It is just a matter of patience. Just hopping that what happen 2 years back would not repeat again!Just cant go through that "hell" time all over again! It was too much to handle!For it to happen again would be terrible!

Hopefully all will turn on alright. God is always watching what we do. No matter what, He knows what is right and what is wrong. He plans it all. We just got face boldly!

Rupster says " About the 48th Day!"

Today was another that most of us at the temple was looking forward to. It was the last day of the whole 48 days ceremony.

Rupster did not manage to go to the temple because there was classes. But as a return He came to visit Rupster at home! Yes. They had a chariot procession. Arrived a bit late due to some technical glitches but everything went on smooth and fine.

Missed going to the temple though. But at least this was something than nothing. An event that only occurs 12 years once!

Rupster says "Back to School for the 2nd time this year"

So holidays came and just vanished like in split seconds!

Now is back to school time again. Another 13 weeks of torture, sleepless nights and ASSIGNMENTS!!! Its another 4 subjects again. And all the subjects name are so close that Rupster is still confused! With all 4 having having almost the same name, out of the 4, 3 is taught by the same lecturer!

Thank God she is nice. One of the best things this semester has is that Rupster has a very LONG weekend! Yes, 3 days of class. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday got no class at all. But the worst is the Wednesday class. Class starts at 8am right up to 6pm with a 2 hour break. Sigh. Don't know how is it going to be. Hopefully we will get to go through this!

Based on all the first lectures, subjects seems to be tough. Which means, extra extra hard work and effort need to be injected in compared to last semester.

Rupster says " About July "

July, month number 7 of the year had just ended its duty officially! What a month it has been! Rupster does not even know how did the month pass by that fast being it a holiday month! The only cuti-cuti Malaysia destination Rupster went for this holiday was Penang!

Yes Penang is enough to cover a lot of fun! Other than that the whole month was spent helping dad with the shop. The usual weekend routine of going to the temple for the special prayers and as well as the weekend outings. Looks like there is something new on the weekend list. Mamak session! Yes that's the latest and newest entry.

July has always been a special month. And now it has become even more special with so many events that had taken place this month. An this year? Its been extra special. All that is suppose to go smoothly is super duper smooth! Never expected everything to go this smooth actually! But thank God for making it a smooth path through.

Other than that, July just like any other month was filled with gatherings and lots of parties too. Not forgetting ALL the food!!! Food at the parties and all the mamaking sessions!!!

As an all, July turned out to be like what was planned and expected! Lets see what August has since its back to school time!!!

This is a day to be in mind for a very long time. It was like back to high school. When Rupster first entered high school she was still in a group with her primary school mates. Most of our primary school mates went to the same school. It was only a handful of us opted to change to a school that was much nearer to our homes.

As time went on, we all found our own click of friends. So there we were the 7 of us formed a group. We used to do crazy stuffs together. In the first year and second year, we spent most of our time in school because we were in the afternoon section. We used to go early to school just to meet up and talk stories and do havoc. Fridays were the best! We got to hang out even longer as school started much later!

Once we got to the morning section, after school the first thing we used to do was all the 7 of us meet up at our meeting point which is the canteen. Once everyone was there we would to Mutiara Complex that was located right next to our school. Mutiara after school hours looked like just another school because it would be filled with students from our school as well as other surrounding schools too!

We used to go there just to buy ice cream or at times to have our lunch there. On the way walking to Mutiara, is a Hyundai showroom. Everytime we walk pass the showroom, the door would open and we used to get the air-cond! We purposely used to walk up and down just for the air-cond!

In Mutiara, we used to walk aimlessly and do just nothing at all! All we did was talk and laugh like crazy people. But we were not the only ones! There were so many of our school mates who were doing the same thing as well! We used to walk there just because one person need to buy a pen and the bookshop!

Than after we are done with Mutiara, our session would continue to the bus stop. Most of us went back by bus. So we used to take the same bus as well. The only problem was, other than Rupster, all the rest needed to take a specific numbered bus! So we used to wait and wait for those buses. At times, when the bus comes, we don't even take the bus just because we were having some interesting topic to talk about! So we wait for the next bus!

Those were some of the good times we had together. Once we left school, we all went our own ways but still kept in touch. We met once in a while but just could not seem to get the whole group together at one time.

What happened yesterday was very unplanned. First, only the 2 of us planned to meet. But along the way we had another 2 to join in. The days started at 3 pm and only ended at 11.30 pm! We went to 3 different places! We just had too much to talk about! If it was not because of our late curfew, we would have just continued to even a later time!So we decided to plan a short trip so that everyone could come along and we get to spend more time together. When? We are not sure, but it will definitely happen!

It just felt like it was school times. Just that this time we were not in our uniforms. The laughter, the stories, the each other attacking and all the other things that came along it was still the SAME!!!

p/s The picture uploaded above is the ALMOST complete group. 1 more person went missing when we were taking the picture. This is the only picture we have and was taken on our high school graduation party! Cant wait for the next gathering for more pictures because this time we completely forgot to take pictures!!!!

Rupster says " About I-City"

Its been a while now since the whole geng went out for an outing. Its always been a Saturday night in house gathering.

After much planning we finally decided to pay a visit to I-City located in Shah Alam. It has been around for some time now. Many people have been talking about it. Some gave good reviews and some said its was just a waste of time. So we decided we shall go there and judge it for ourselves.

After everyone gathered we left KL at about 7.45 pm. 3 cars with 9 people! As soon as we reached Shah Alam, the first thing we did was to have DINNER! Yes! Our usual outing routine. So there we were at this restaurant called Mahamewah Seafood Sdn. Bhd.

Food was so good. But we totally forgot to take pictures of the food!! The menu was the usual seafood stuff which was Steamed Talapia Fish with garlic, Tom Yam Prawns serve in a young Coconut, Long Beans stir fries and Chili Chicken. The different menu that we tired out this time was the Sizzling Fried Oyster with Egg and the Tofu Soup with chicken. The food was so GOOD! Something very different. Flavor was not the same as all the usual Chine cuisine outing that we have had. It was very much cheap as well!

After about 2 hours we finally left for I-City which was located about 5 minutes away from the restaurant. As soon as the we reached the I-City junction, it was pretty much jammed. Thank god the colourful lights did not make the journey to the car park a bored one.

Took us about 10 minutes to get through the jam and to find a parking spot. So while going through the jam, it was picture taking time! Pictures did not turn out very clear because of the car movements. But something is better than nothing!

As soon as we got a parking spot, immediately we jumped out of the car and all we did was POSE, POSE and POSE!!!

Overall, it was a very beautiful sight though nothing much can be done other than POSE! The colours of the lights were so beautiful! It suddenly felt like it was Christmas. Just that we are 5 months away from Christmas.

Uncle was saying, last Christmas, everything was lit up in white. That give an idea for this year's Christmas plan *evil smile*...

The place is ok la. Like it was mentioned earlier, nothing much to do other than enjoying the lights. Lots of colours. A bit of walking around. Mostly people come there to enjoy the colours and those who like photography, this is YOUR place. Kids would enjoy it as well because there formations of animals other the pine trees.

We spent about 2 hours walking around and taking pictures. Than as usual, we went for our usual mamak session. We've always had a mamak session after every dinner or any night outing. But this time, it turned to be very fun one. All we did was laugh, laugh, and laugh. We laughed for every single small thing. Even over a spoon! It was like we were all sugar-high! We laughed was not the usual laugh-laugh but it went to the extend we started tearing and just could not stop ourselves from laughing.

We laughed so much and loud to the extend, uncle said he is no longer stepping to that place for lunch the next 2 weeks! That's how bad it was! And all the tiredness that has been in us just went flying away. At the end, it was a day filled with so much fun and laughter! Looking forward to more outings!

Rupster says " About the New Experiance"

Holidays are almost half way gone! Sigh...so fast! This holidays did not really seem like a holiday!
WHY?

Because, usually during the holidays. all that Rupster does is sit at home, be online the whole day, eat, sleep and at times go out. This time its none of the above. Rupster has been busy helping her father at the shop.

Well, they are lacking of worker. So Rupster is helping out. Feels very weird to actually work surrounded by about 13 foreigners! Its very very tiring to stand all day long. With the existing leg pain plus with the whole day standing makes it worst!

Thus, the day literally end by 11.30 p.m these days. We come to the shop at about 9.30 am and be back home by earliest 8.15pm. Its been very tiring because at times its a continuous 7 days job. At times just ponteng la..hehe....But it has been a good past time. Since everyone has started their working carrier and been busy, this is one of the best chance to past time and at the same time learn new things everyday.

Its been a really good kerning experience. Well, the place is divided in to two sections. The section downstairs is the Tailor shop and the one above is the factory. When parents were away in India, we were focusing on the down business as there was someone else in charge of the factory. So we kind of learned a lot during that period. It was different experience by itself to speak and persuade customers! Ever since parents came back, Rupster has been mostly upstairs. At times, Rupster is sometimes half up and half down!

Don't ask how but it happens. Usually when there is no one to be in charge of of the downstairs. So yea basically for now holidays are being spent as such. So far Rupster only reached Penang and the usual weekend outings. Hopefully there is another escape soon before the "hell" semester starts again in early August!!!

Rupster says " About The D Day!"

Rather than being excited for July 13th, parents were very much looking forward for 14 July. Why? Because results were suppose to be released.

After such a tough semester, results were very much awaited. 1 subject did worry us so much! But looking at the results today, with God's blessing we all did well. We all got through our papers. All 4 paper has been cleared!

It was and had been an extremely hard semester with the course-work. Thankfully course-work and the internal results were high enough and it was only left with the external results. Studying through the night. Getting constant SMS reminders to study was a great help!

There was sure procrastination to study, but all those constant SMS nagging did work! Thank you so much to those who had a played a major role in this whole semester! Yes and special thanks to Dad to for not only nagging but help pay the fees! Will definitely work even harder for the next semester! Seeing the excitement on his face today was such relieve!

July 13th 2010 had been a pretty much low profiled. But lots of messages came flowing in via Facebook, SMSes, phonecalls and as well as Geni.

Geni is another social network specially dedicated to connect you with your family members. In other words you build your family- tree here. And this has really helped us get to know family members whom we hardly know and never knew the existed! And grandma 31 days prayers has really helped us to reconnect back with all this people. Some were reluctant when we requested for the email ID's but today they are the most active people on it!

So back to July 13th. Day felt kind of gloomy because exam results is suppose to be out tommorow! *sigh*..What a time for results! But yet the day was not that bad after all. The phone calls really made the day! And the best part, those who actually made the effort to sing over the phone! Thank you so much people! Rupster was very very touched. It was fun being the chorus as you guys sang!

The night was the usual family outing dinner. The spot was the usual spot. But the food was really a let down! Sigh..don't know why but the standard seemed to have dropped so drastically. But cake was superb! Rupster was looking forward to an orange cake this. Don't know why. Thank God there was an Orange Cake! Immediately grabbed that! And it was all worth! So the orangie!!!!!!!!!!

Minus the food and cake, it was a good get together after such a long time. We'll we've been busy with prayers that we hardly got to meet often unless it was during the day time. Overall, it was indeed a good and simple a simple day.

Yes!!! Its already a year!

A great year it has been. A year filled with so much of new self-discovery. Its also been very much a emotional year. Emotion. Yes all sorts of emotions. Joy, happy, sad, tears, excitement, anger and the list goes on and on...

Its been a great experience and its still in the learning process. Looking forward to many many more years ahead! And spending more time!

Thank you for such a great experience! Never knew and expected all these to happen. Though it was all of a sudden but Rupster is very much glad it had all happened! Everything is moving smoothly as planned. Lets see what else is there to be looked forward to!

Rupster says " About Penang Again!"

So here comes July. July was very much started of in Penang. After much of planing, we finally made it there! Rupster missed that place so much! Not forgetting the never ending food spree that we do there! *sigh*. The last trip was a year ago!

We were suppose to go the 4 of us. But 1 person ended up getting employed officially after almost 15 years of education! So she had to opt out. Congrats babe for the job. Now working women already ;)

So, we continued the plan with the 3 of us. Lots of drama 1 person had to go through just for 2 days of leave! Thank God the whole trip was worth all the drama! And Rupster believes she did a good job as a tourist guide as well ;). Yes! You read it well. Tourist Guide! Just that, we traveled using public transport. We hardly traveled in the public transport here in KL. But Rupster knows how to travel using a bus in PENANG! That's how efficient their system is!

Rupster says " About June"

1st half of the year is done. Now we take our next step to the 2nd half of the year. That's how fast time has been moving. It just feels like 2010 had just started but little do we know that the year has done half of its circle. Another half a relay to go!

As to that, Rupster has decided to change the monthly review format.Its no longer going to be the format that it used to be.

June was month filled with all the different dimension of emotions. There was the happy mode, sad mode, excited mod, angry mode, somber mode, laughter mode, teary mode and all the other emotion mode that we human's go through!

It was also a month in which a lot of time was spent with the family. With the daily night prayers and than the 31st. We hardly got to spend these much of time together in the past. Probably when we were kids we always did have our yearly beach outings but as time went on all of those stopped. So the daily prayres did help to bring back all those memories.

Not forgetting, the collection of photos we went through to present a slide presentation about grandma. Some of the pictures we never ever saw! And never knew it ever existed! But today, those are the only memeories we have together. One day we may forget those memories but it is these pictures that actually bring back forgotten memory.

June was also a month where much of Rupster's time was spent in the temple. Yes, we awaited the big day for such a long time and it finally arrived on June 23rd 2010! To receive the arrival, we had the pre-functions as well as the post-functions. And the post functions would go right up to August. It is during this time that we get to see people whom we never really saw for a very long time. Some whom we can remember and some you hardly know or hardly can remember them!

It nice seeing and meeting all these people. Not forgetting, meeting new people as well. It was also the exam month. Just a few days but it was enough to leave such an impact. Sleepless nights. And now its sleepless nights waiting for the results!

As an overall, June had a been a really good month. Lot of memories that can never been forgotten. Some thing are rather kept in mind and remembered. Those in mind were the BEST! Not everybody would go through such a smooth path. Rupster is very much blessed to get such a smooth path given. But than again, smooth paths should not be taken granted for. We still got to work hard on it to gain success. Its never always a one way road. Its a 2 way road. Thus, both the roads need to work together for us to reach the destination.

So now, lets see what is left for JULY!

Rupster says " About the Devotional and Holly Day"

One of the most frequently visited temple Rupster went was the Sri Paranjothy Vinayagar Temple. Located in Jalan Ipoh, almost every Sunday mornings during childhood days were spent at the temple. We went there for religious classes. We were taught about the religion and at the same time we were taught to sing devotional songs.

Rupster remembers hating to go for classes because it took up almost half of a Sunday. The teachers were strict too. We skipped a class and the following week you are ought to bring a letter from our parents. In Rupster's case, the teacher knew our house so there was totally no way of ESCAPING. Those were some of the memories we had in the temple.

Rupster hardly goes to any other temple that much. This is the one temple that you could always see Rupster. Not too often as well but occasionally. Not because of anything, but she's just to comfortable with the environment and not forgetting all the familiar faces as well!

So, each temple goes the process of renovating the temple every 12 years. It is known as the Maha Kumbabishegam. This is the forth time this temple is having it. We had a Fund Raising Dinner last year to raise fund for the temple works.

We've very much looked forwards to it. This is because all the renovations were suppose to be done by last year August. From a minor renovation it turned out to be a really major renovation. From months it dropped to weeks. From weeks it dropped to days and FINALLY the day came!

The whole process begin about a week ago. Due to exam week, Rupster only started going the last 3 days. In which, these last 3 days were considered the most important days. And mind you, its been a long 3 days process.

Finally the much awaited date came. 23 June 2010! The started at 5.30 am. The crowd was massive! The temple was never usually that crowded. Plus that it has been going thorough the renovation process for the last one and half years. we hardly see much people around except the regular comers.

The day was filled with very very strong vibes. Don't know how to explain them because you got to be there to feel it. Goosebumps attacks were very often! From the position you stand and watch and to what you see, its just an amazing experience. Its something that you'll never face in your daily life and at the same time not everyone gets to experience it.

After everything was done, 12 pm was lunch time. Went over to the serving place to help serve. Not a easy task but manage to get through it though. Saw many people that we hardly saw and some have been years since we last saw! Got back home at about 2. Rested a while and got prepared to go back to the temple at 5.

Evening session was equally filled with goosebumps as well. Probably this the most goosebumps attack in a day! Overall it had been a day that would never been forgotten.

A day being pushed, squashed and loads of smiles! Not forgetting as well all the other happy events that came along with it. All the positive and BIG smiles given. A simple "hello" and "bye" that helped create conversations. It was indeed an unforgettable day!

Exams are over!

Holidays are here again! 1 month. Would fly by very fast as usual. But at least it is something than nothing. So lets just make full use out of it.

The first week would be busy with the temple activities. Its been more than a year since we've been waiting for the BIG day. Finally it is almost here. Everyone is so excited but at the same we are all awaiting tonnes of work But at the end of the day, we are all going to back with big smiles! Can't wait!

So, for the next few days its going to be busy busy. And than, holidays STARTS!!!

Rupster says " About The Long Weekend"

Taking time from studying, Rupster wants to write about what happen for the long weekend.

Well..we knew it was going to be a very hectic weekend with the 31st coming along and Rupster juggling with studying. On Friday onwards, the crowd for the prayers started building up as we expected.

Than Saturday came along. Thw whole Saturday was spent to study. Than night was prayers as usual. Some how, that was they day Rupster suddenly felt the lost. Probably it was due to the atmosphere. With so much people being around and seeing the canopy put up it just turned out to be very emotional. And for the fact that the whole family was already down and everyone was together again.

And Sunday approached. Also the whole day was spent studying but just some how very limited ifomation managed to get in. So it was basically just a memorise affair. Was really looking forwards for the night. No. Not because it was the last day of prayers, but a group of cousins had actually prepared a slide presentation of grandma. Was very excited to watch the "show".

So the night approached. OMG...the crowd!!!!! Yes our family alone is enough to for that house but with the whole bunch of extended family coming in was impossible! During the daily prayers we at least had the opputunity to sit where we want because there was so much place. But Sunday's was a big NO. It was so cramped! To the extend we had to sit right to the front without leaving any space!

Sunday was a day filled with so much emotions. Since morning. Don't know why. But at the end of the day, it was one of the most memorable days. A day being with the whole family. A day where each and every family memeber wished her GOOD LUCK for her paper the next day.

A day where things got revealed. Well it was never easy for anyone. But we just had to do. Glad that the response was positive. Just got to wait and see what is in store next. Anyways, like Ruspter said, she is very glad you finally did it.

Good Job! Very very proud of you. So after this jaga your nama baik okey ? ;)

Than Monday came. Morning went for exam. It was ok. Not enough time to write! Don't know if what written was relevant. Feeling very weird that it may not be right. Sigh. And at times Rupster wonders why to the give 2 hours for a paper. So long!

After exam, got picked up and straight headed for prayers. Rupster wanted to at least make it for the last part. So glad that things got delayed in the morning so the last part of prayers got delayed as well. The crowd was as expected. HUGE!

Was nice hanging around with everyone after lunch. We have no idea when is this same thing is going to happen again. Maybe a wedding or may be another function. Before this, it was grandma who made it a point to bring everyone together. Or it was for either hr birthday or mother's day that we all got together.

There goes a month full of quality time spent with the family. A month filled with food! Was a sad ending. But there is an ending to every start. So Thus, this is time to open a whole new chapter. Lets see what is in store for the next chapter.

Its our study break this week. That means the semester has ended! How fast is that. It feels like 2010 had just started. Classes resumed back in March. Now its June and classes has ended. This semester had been a good one. Minus all the sleepless nights, late nights, tonnes of discussions, lots of staying back and not forgetting late evening classes which was the worst among all!!

It felt like we were back in the afternoon school. Days started late and ended late. Not forgetting the traveling from Sentul to Subang. Being it peek hours the crowd was terrible and horrible!

But as an whole. It has been a great semester. Internal results turned to be good. So now its time to start nerding out and make sure is the external results also turns out to be equally good! Cant afford to screw up any more papers!!!

So happy STUDYING!!!!!!!!!!!

Rupster says "About the Little Update"

Its been a week since grandma had passed away. Every night for the last week had been the same routine of attending prayers. This would go on for the next whole month. In a way, this is the best time, in which we get to gather the whole family as one. During the weekdays, the group is small but the weekends has been pretty much crowded.

The weekdays is usually attended by those who work and stay around KL but the weekend crowd includes the Selangor side as well as other relatives. Thinking of this is the best time to diet?? Never! Its the worst! This is when we get fed with all sorts of vegetarian food. Its just up to you how much you limit yourself to.

Food a side but it is during the meal time that we get to mingle with each other so much. We hardly got this chance. Definitely once this 1 month is over, all those times would be very much missed! As well as the group singing and the individual singing! Very soothing and calming! See any type of music is near to the soul. Its not that you can sing or not but how music helps calm you down and bring a smile to your face.

Just discovered this week that the final exam timetable is out. And the biggest fear also come true when a paper falls on grandma's 31st day prayers. *sigh* Lucky morning paper. At least could make it back for lunch. The spread out for all 3 papers looks ok..can cope hopefully!!!!

Semester has been good so far. Assignments and presentations are all done. Marks are also out..For once everything is GOOD! but hopefully it would be good enough..Not as good for a HD but a D is also good enough! I need those! Except for a subject! Rupster would be on top of the world even if she get a PASS for it...not really aiming for a D or HD for that but to get a D for that would be the biggest miracle of this semester!

The other 3 are all ok just that need to add in extra extra effort to aim for a D. So burning midnight oil need to begin ASAP. Thank God out of that 3, 1 is a take home test in which it would not be easy. The paper will be given out next week and we have a week to get done with it. So basically we have another 3 subjects to study for!

Rupster says " About The Final Farewell"

It was just last week that we gathered as a family to celebrate Mother's Day.
You never wanted wake up nor open your eyes.
We had to constantly call you to wake up.
Your response were slow but we never gave up.
Finally you opened your eyes.
You never wante dto leave the room.
We forced you out and you gave in.

You were left there on your chair all by yourself, as they were preparing food for you.
Not all realised what were you doin but 2 pairs of eyes were contstantly watching you.
We saw you lifting up your weak hand to check on your hair.
Being very weak, you still managed to bun up your hand.
Surrounded by your great-grandchildren, you proudly cut your cake.
You even managed to pose for pictures.

Little did we know that those poses would be your last.
Little did we know that it would be our very last moments with you.
Little did we know that your walk out to your special chair would be your last seat on it.
Little did we know that your meal was the final solid meal you had.
Little did we know that what you told us were going to be your last words.
Little did we know that those were your last laughter with us.
Little did we know that today would be the day that we all said farewell to you!

Though there were moment that we laughed around at the point your body laid motionless there, deep in our hearts we were grieving your lost. You had always told us not to cry. You had always told us to pray for you to "go". You constantly told me to get for you the "tickets". But I would always ask you back "where do you want to go? Sri Lanka? Its ok we will go together. And your reply would be "No. You cant come to this place I want to go". At time your reply would be "Yes, we'll go together to Sri Lanka."

Those were the times that we used to make fun of you just to make you speak and not think of "go"ing and thinking of all your pains. No matter how sick you were, your memory power always seemed to be so good that everyone in the family wished we had that memory power too. You remembered each and every incident that had occurred complete with the day, date and time. You never got tired explaining to us how is everyone related to each other.

Today, we believe you have gone to a better place. We hope we sent you of with the way you wanted and requested. We would definitely miss the usual Sunday visiting to you. Its be a routine all these years and to break the routine might be a very hard task!

We'll defiantly miss you...Rest in Peace!

Rupster says "About Mothers Day 2010"

This year Mother's Day celebration was sort of looked forward to because there had been advance planning from both sides. So we knew what to expect. And when there's something in Gombak it means it time for a reunion for the family. Though not all but the KL population alone is enough to crowd the whole house. Right from the porch to the kitchen!

Before we see what happened in Gombak, we shall see what happened on the eve. Eve was a very last minute planning. We decided to have a pot-luck this time. It was mother's day cum birthday celebration at KK's. The day was opened with 2 bottles of champagne, followed by the main course that included KFC, mutton cry, scrambled eggs, mix vegatable and to go along it what some stringhopers and prathas'. Drink was fruit punch with mixed fruits.

As the clock stroked 12, we had a countdown and sang the Happy Birthday song as well as Happy Mothers Day song in which the the words were created just as we sang along! The day ended almost about 2 am.

At home it was very much quite, because mum had to prepare a dish for Gombak. Gombak's concept has always been a pot-luck concept. Thus, our dish was fried mee. As we reached there, we were welcomed by the groups of uncles and boys sitting at porch for some air (mind you, these boys are married with kids yea...but to each other we are still boys and girls). Than we were greeted by the aunties and the group of girls. As Rupster approached the dining it was totally concurred by the 3rd generation of the family. Even that they had groups. For the secondary school group and the primary school group!

After wishing all the mother's around Rupster realise grandma was still on bed. Usually if everyone is there she is up and sitting on her chair. This time she was not. Gave a peep into her room and realise she was asleep. She was not looking the usual self of hers.

Than one group went in to get her to at least talk. Poor response. Her eyes were close all the time. Only we could feel her hand movements. She's never been this bad though. Everyone sort of panicked. But God's grace after constant tries she finally got back to normal. Manage to walk her out of the room to her chair. After dinner we had the cake cutting ceremony and we even made her to pose her famouse "very good" sign that was taught to her by one of the grandson.

It was indeed a good get together in Gomabk. As usual, we all had so much of catching up to. With all the stories and each others updates ever since we met the last time. Though everyone could not make it, at least it was something than nothing. But Rupster still misses Superhero. Superhero did not come. Its been so long since we last met!

As things were better in Gombak, we rushed to Old Klang road to join the dinner. This time was for mum's side. We reached there to see that they were done eating. So they ordered a dish for Rupster and family to eat and than headed to Swensence SS2 for ice cream for the dessert section. The Kandiah's were also not complete but it was again something than nothing.

A day that was indeed fun but very tiring. Lots of work and adding up to that college work. It was indeed a day to be remembered.

You know the very light feeling the very relieved feeling when you have got rid of a heavy burden?

Today was THE day!!

Almost everything was set loose once and for all. What needs to be said and told has been done.

It feels very relieved. Now let anyone say anything and Rupster is NOT going to care! Rupster has never been in the wrong. Just that she believes everything will happen when it has to happen.

So now it has happen. RELIEVED. Rupster has got her life back! Yeayyyy....

Rupster is free again to do what she likes during the holidays. For now its back to classes, assignments and exams!!!

Its been 2 long months! So long! At times we wonder why time can run so fast and at times we wonder why time is so slow.

Thank god we have technology. Or else what would happen? Its not been that bad though. With so much of assignments to work on, the mind has been constantly been diverted. At times you wished things wasn't that hard to be handled. But than again this is all the learning process.

Distance would always be distance. All we have is technology to shorten the distance.Some people just cant take distance but at times distance is just a way. The longer you wait, the shorter time gets to face it again. So happy waiting!

The week was suppose to be a mid term break. But it was worst that a normal going to class day! The whole week went by sleepless. Well not really but just a few hours. The shortest was just 4 hours!

It was a assignment and party planning week! And both of these is never easy. Never under estimate both of these. Thankfully, assignment was finished just in time for party decorations time. But Rupster was still not very in the decoration mode, because this particular assignment needed Turnitin.

Turnitin is a software where you upload your assignment, and it would detect the level of plagarism. Even if you never plagarised, somewhere around it there could be a similarity with your work. Yes this software is so cool because it also detects things that you never plagarised it makes it not to be nice. For instance, if you had referanced a book written and there had been another person who had used the book, it indicated you have plagarised.

So all you have to do is register yourself in based on your studying institution and than upload your work. Within less than an hours time your work will be checked and results will be out. If your plagirism level is high, you would need to reedit your work and resubmit again. That again depends on what setting did the tutor had set for the students.

Thus, after submitting the first draft to Turnitin, it was time to start preaparing for the party. Rupster took every half an hour gap to check her work. It was weired because Turnitin usually sends the report very fast, but that day it was so long. Until it passed mid-night, that when Rupster realised she has been checking the wrong place. Mange to track back the correct place and check the results. 15% of plagarised. Which is very good! Was very surprising but glad it was not that after all. Finally mange to give 100% concentration for the decoration work!

So that was a total of 5 days lacking of sleep but still going strong. Party turned out to be successful after lots of plannings and running about. It was fun and cool too. Now its back to BED before getting started with the remaining assignments in hand!!!!
